My job

Well here is how my work is. This is my 3rd semester at Alice Lloyd College. The people who i worked with the first 2 semesters all got better jobs than being a janitor but me? No im stuck in the same position for a 3rd semester. This pisses me off. I have been cleaning the same building, the same bathrooms, for the past year and well its getting old. I went and required a job change, because they have 22 people working in our library and they need about 4, seriously. They say that they have understaffed cleaning crews but when they over stock one area thats a NERRRRR. I even went to a Teacher and said hey can i be your Teachers Assistant, i have experience working sound and lighting boards so it would be easy for me to re pick up on those skills so that i could get out of this job. The teacher was thrilled to have seomeone say that they would do this job but they denied me. Having 1 extra person to clean a freaking building that takes 1 hour is more important than having someone with a working knowledge of a light / sound board!!! Its just completely stupid!

why dont you quit working at the school and look elsewhere? Thats what I'd do personally...

it sucks that things are going like that for you.

my only advise for you is to keep doing the best possible job that you can even if you hate the position and be persistant with making it known that you want one of the other jobs. if you keep showing really good work ethic you'll eventually get what you want when the position opens up.

That is a job that is actually worst than mine. It sure sucks to be you right now, i'd look elsewhere for a job or just visit a view job service places to have them help you to find a better job.
