Whats your fav. non-RPG castlevania (such as Castlevania 1, 3, and 4)

Mine is split between C3 and C4. 3 is good cuz of Alucard ^_^, but 4 has Simon and his whip tricks, lol.

4 was great.... 1 was ..damn they are all great..lol, i guess it would have to be 1 or 4 though (but 2 is the best:P)

lol, i was trying to think rather 2 is ranked RPG or not, i never thought of it as RPG,but want sure cause in its time it was with FF1, and its hard to rate whats a RPGs from NES for me <_<

Mog's right. All the non-RPG castlevanias are good. Hell, ALL the Castlevanias are good ^_^

Yeah, it is by far the best series when it comes to things like.. ALL of them being great, FF doesnt even have that cause some FF games suck lol...
castlevanias have givin me somthing to do a many of days.. hell, years lol, i love the series.. i wish i could get some money and buy the newer ones

i liked supercastlevania (4) because you could use your whip to latch onto things and could lash out in many directions. dracula's curse (3) was cool because you could choose many different routes and could get other characters to join you.

Castlevania 4 by far... C4 is one of the SNES's greatest games.

yes. any of the ones where you gain exp and level up are considered to be the most rpg like castlevania games.

2 is also arguable one of the 'rpg' castlevania games. being the predecessor to games like SotN.

Well, you technically do not level up in Castlevania: Legacy Of Darkness and Castlevania: Lament Of Innocence. So if those are not RPG Castlevanias, then my favorite would be Legacy Of Darkness. If they are, then Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse.

I like super castlevania 4 for the SNES. It's a great game.
