First impression of EF?

honestly i thought it needed a feature because all the forums are redundant like on other forums, there wa slittle to set it part from others bar the community that basiclaly was ef. However as it came to now there is a noticible difference in the direction that its headed.

I like feedback like this that people give because it helps me to better orient EF towards new members. And, if new members like what they see, then they'll probly stick around longer ^_^

EF rules, i love it here, its the only forum that post at. I hoping for modship someday. and to bat a 1000 before the end of the friggin year. Eveybody's nice, except Lathan, he's a real dumba**, lol. I love it, he'll kill me. anyway, i like that you can use any style, although i'm partial to cold steel. there's more but i've been up alnight and my brains fried. hence the lathan comment, always braver when he's miles away.

I think this site is better than GW!

It is the only forum that took me from other forums, and made me call it my "home".. so wat do YOU think?...

i loved it here, less rules then any other place, great forum set-up, really good, and nice leaders.
great styles (BTW this was the first site i ever saw that had more then one style, lol)

i could go on all day, but i have had a long day, so i wont... but all in all, it was at the time, the very best site i ever joined, and as of now, it still is ^_^
if i could do it again, i would join this site still, because its been worth my time.. hell.. if i could do it again, i would have joined EF, and never fucked with GW bitches!

back in tha day when i first came all i liked was the arcade cus when i looked at the posts i thought the ppl here where big headed wack white people lol i still think that way to a couple ppl but ill get over it lmao the main thing i liked about it is like lakky said its not ran like a boot camp. that weed fourm i used to go to was wack thay *itched about every little thing and the site owner was like 2-3 years younger then me that pissed me off, i dont like lil people gettin all up in my face like thay know something just cus theres a comp between us grrr...but the longer i stayed here the more i liked it i havent been to many forum sites but im sure this is the best lol

Meh I came cause Johnny told me to, then stuff went on and I stayed and came back. I just like a place where to boat can get rocked a little bit.

I tried doing this at my other site. They just sent hordes of zombies at me, mind you not the "nnaaaa we want brains" but intelligent zombies that listened to mozart and read books. I think they out did me, I love it there.

when i first came to ef i was way too sensitive. i ranted and raved about how kenny and mega tokyo judged my art unfairly. then following their advice later i shaded my art,touched it up, and became a better artist because of it. then of course there was my fiasco with fairy where i jumped to conclusions and attacked him. our battle is legendary but then after reflection i realized i was being too narrow minded in my judgement. through that it dawned on me i was being a pompous ass and that sometimes people help you grow stronger by challenging you instead of being your buddy. to improve you often need to hear what you don't want to. i think that's the most important scrap of wisdom i gained from that experience. yet though my first impression was bad and my first couple of months were rocky i had friends from ef that stood by me and instead of banning me lades allowed me to have the opertunity to evolve into a better person. in lu of that i think ef is one of the best forums out there though my original impression was that it sucked. lol.

I like it, I mean there are a lot of forums out there..but EF just has a nicer population, everyone here is friendly and such, easy to speak your mind, and people dont' get all uptight and freak out when you don't agree with them lol..well except the constant Moogle vs Chocobo war between Mog and Cacaw lol... does it really set itself apart from any other site? Unless you join and get to know everyone..then not really no...I like the place, it's laid back, unlike some forums I've been to, this is the only forums that I've joined besides GW that I actually hang around, the others I've all quit because I got bored.. I dunno..I guess the whole EF experience can only be felt after you've actually been here and been active for a week or so.

the homepage is my main focus. when it's almost ready I'll start contacting all the faq/walkthrough writers and try to get a lot of stuff like that for us.

it seems great overall. i guess you could add a few more topic boards (such as game faqs at lath suggested) but when in doubt simplicity is a good thing.
