Well I would say guns because they really get the Jahovah Witnesses to stay away and I do hunt as well. Sorry if any of you are Jahovah Witnesses but I hate them so much. >_< But also swords have a good point. Likle after I shoot the game I'm after ex. deer I use a hunting knife for defending myself incase the deer gets pissed off and attacks me.

Nabeshin, any idiot can pick up a gun and shoot but there not going to hit anything. And apperently u dont shoot, try to kill something with a rifle. Aim at a 400 yard target, if you move your barrle 2mm you off and your not going to hit a man sized target. I have bin practicing for 3 years and my best shot is only is only 5 out of 7. It takes skill to shoot, and its even harder with a pistle. The first time i shot a pisle i was 10 ft up. When you learn to shoot you will say something diffrent.(Still learning to shoot pistles)

skill of having a steady hand and keen eye, given that a gun can only hurt the perosn weilding it if the gun misfires or the bullet comes out of the barrel wrong in the old 6 shooters a person wielding a double edged sword in close quarters combat needs a keener eye for detail and a steadier hand in order to maintain the stance, shift grip counter, parry guard. Think about it for a moment with regard to the invention of gunpowder. Knights were feared on the battle ground because they were imposing in armour with lances and swords. So what happened when gunpowder was introoduced? Thats right you had a bunch of people cower behind fortifications and fire. OMFG such skill involved, i mean, im in awe and pointing in a general direction and pulling a trigger. Now given shotguns have a wider spray and anti personell guns provide a scatter shot not to mention the rapid fire of a minigun you assume to tell me that there is more skill involved in the general use of guns rather then swords?

So if say i had a clip of 500 odd bullets with a 400 yard target with say 20 round per sec of discharge aimed at the target and just let spray i would not hit it. But then again in combat the target wouldnt be stationary so therefore a spread shot would hit it would it not?

and what do you mean when i learn to use pistols? I prefer to use finesse in killing not only is it more satisfying its more fun to see them writhe in pain. Id be more then willing to give you a demo with my hatchet if you want.

First you dont use a minigun to kil a single person. And when you say spray, you would have to be an idiot. I'm talking about hitting the person with a couple shots.
Then a minigun does not mis fire for jam. When the bullet is pushed into the barrle and the pin hits it, it does not matter it will kick the bullet out anyway and contunue shooting. They dont make guns fully auto anymore for foot soldiers the best they have is a 3 round burst.

As for the m16 jamming, all you have to do is pull back a lever and let go and it will fix a mis fire or a jam. It may take 2 seconds to fix it.

Then your not going to hear there pain if the person you killing has a gun, you will hear yourself. As for the demo with your hatchet, i have 3 guns in my room within reach a knife set and two other knifes.

Anyways I have a good shot with a rifle and it takes years of practice just to be able to shoot a tiny target right in the center of it. But its also how you shoot the person with a gun that counts. A moron could be aiming the gun at a persons chest but because of the recoil they could end up hitting them in the leg or or something or just plain miss. But with practice a gun is a deadly weapons. Also guns don't kill people. People that use the guns do.

In a closed fight, like more of a competition than an actual free-for-all for survival, I can see the honor variable being worth upholding, but when its either you or them, I'll take survival with shame than death with honor.

The only reason people use guns here is because were idiots. If someone go's out and uses a gun in any eligal act we should blow there brains out. Anyone who carry's a gun in a city should be shot. There is no reason you need a gun in a big city. The only one's to carry guns in a city would be cops. Were i live it's small enough that everyone has guns. But there has only been one murder that i have ever known to happen here. And the stupid thing was, the person who kill the girl was a cop.
