Sneeze is by far the most annoying attack... especially when Chupon does it to you in the colliseum.

Zelphiel

another annoying attack is any of the 3 super long range magics (Bolting, Purge, and Eclipse) in Fire Emblem. They have a range of 10 spaces I believe.

Big Bang from Zeromus in FF4
Twister/Hurricane in FF5
Hyperdrive from Siegfried in FF6
Aire Tam Beam from Emerald in FF7
Hell's Gate from Ultimecia in FF8
Neutron Ring from Necron in FF9 (always right after Grand Cross)
Ultra spark from Nemesis in FF10 (it causes status effects, but its the damage that annoys me)
Iselia Queen's ground shockwave thingy in SO2
Nereid Shizel's Eternal Finality in ToD2

more coming later, lol

Chaos Theory

Hells Gate and Shockwave Pulsar >.>

Lancet Jades
07-13-2004, 02:52 AM
Meh, at least i got the Aire Tam part right :P. Its been years since i fought him...

more:
-Gilead Plant, used by Raidenmon in Digimon World 3. It heals like his whole fucking life bar, and he can use it over, and over, and over...
-The black hole thingy from the final boss of Megaman Legend 2.
Hellstorm (or whatever the name is), both used by the Demon Lord, and God, in DW7

Any move that reduces HP to 1...Fallen one, Fallen angel etc and I hate Shockwave pulsar.

Leknaat
07-13-2004, 03:19 AM
I agree with Cammy
Any spell that takes forever to complete

ultima is always a spell you have to be wary of in the ff games. roulette in shadowhearts kills u instantly unless of course u buy and equip the proper charms.

death sentance is pretty annoying i liked supernova the first few times sepphy used it then i dreaded him using it lol i hate any attack that damges me :D

Lancet Jades
07-13-2004, 06:05 AM
Yeah, but Death Sentence is a status effect :P
:prophet

In CT, Zeal's Hallation attack was annoying...as was the Golem's Iron Ball ability lol
:crono1 :lucca1

Zelphiel
07-14-2004, 01:58 AM
did Hallation take your HP or MP to 1 or 0... I can't remember.

And Iron ball wasn't much of a problem to me. It's the attacks that follow it. Iron Ball just decreases your life by half...

Lancet Jades
07-14-2004, 06:00 AM
Hallation cut everyone's HP to 1.

As for Iron Ball, although it didn t kill you, it was annoying because it made it easier for subsequent attacks to kill you.

Zelphiel
07-14-2004, 12:41 PM
yeah, he had an attack that hit everyone I believe. I think it was a fire attack...

Lancet Jades
07-14-2004, 08:14 PM
Not that i remember. He had a fireball attack he used on a single person.

Chaos Theory
07-14-2004, 08:18 PM
I remember one of them had a flamewave like move

Lancet Jades
07-14-2004, 08:21 PM
Well, its been over a year since i last played it, so i forget >_>

:prophet

Zelphiel
07-14-2004, 11:18 PM
yeah... it was kind of a red ripple across the screen.

Lancet Jades
07-14-2004, 11:26 PM
Oh, yeah. They absorb your characters elementall attacks and throw em back at you/

Chicken Little
07-14-2004, 11:46 PM
dispel and ful break. I can handle having my hp reduced to 1, same with my mp sinc ei always have items and everybody capable as a second healer. But full break and dispel just gets rid of so much hard work.

Lancet Jades
07-14-2004, 11:50 PM
Whats full break?

Zelphiel
07-15-2004, 12:05 AM
I can't remember it, but it's probably like armor break, mental break, and magic break at once.

Lancet Jades
07-15-2004, 01:12 AM
I dont remember an attack like that...

Zelphiel
07-15-2004, 03:22 AM
oh well... It's probably real. Fly isn't the type to go making up attacks... or is he :paranoid

Chicken Little
07-15-2004, 03:48 AM
its in FFX for a cost of 99mp i think it is and does Armour, Mental, Power, Speed and whatever other break there is all in one go. And even if your protected against armour break alone if you do full break it also bypasses that since its grouped.

Once you complete the sphere grid it should be bottom left of the ooption with cheer and jinx and crap.

Zelphiel
07-15-2004, 03:58 AM
hmm... maybe it's an international FFX thing. I don't remember it being on mine.

Chicken Little
07-15-2004, 10:44 PM
maybe it is

Lancet Jades
07-16-2004, 01:00 AM
It probly is, like the dark aeons and Ribbon equipment >_>

Zelphiel
07-16-2004, 01:27 AM
Ribbon Equipment?

Lancet Jades
07-16-2004, 01:43 AM
Yeah, equipment w/ the Ribbon ability on it. Ribbon protected against all status ailments.

Zelphiel
07-16-2004, 03:09 AM
why would you need more than one item that does the same thing?

Seifer
07-16-2004, 02:38 PM
Heartless Angel KH version.

Forces you to use Elixer to survive...if you get hit that is.

Lancet Jades
07-17-2004, 04:24 AM
why would you need more than one item that does the same thing?
You dont, but you'd want a Ribbon armor on every person, right?

Ricdeau
07-17-2004, 05:09 AM
That Facking Time of Truth that Indalecio does to make himself uber fast. I goddamn hate that.

Lancet Jades
07-17-2004, 09:26 AM
Meh, Time of Truith isnt as bad as Ultimate Indalecio's Divine Comedy and Earthquake spells...

"Swallow all the wicked people!" >_<

Ricdeau
07-18-2004, 05:28 AM
It is. I can survive Earthquake just about, but when he uses ToT I just cant hit him.

Lancet Jades
07-18-2004, 05:37 AM
Yeah, but i was talking about Ultimate Indalecio. He doesn't use ToT...lol

Zelphiel
07-18-2004, 11:23 AM
You dont, but you'd want a Ribbon armor on every person, right?

no, I thought you ment there was a ribbon armor, ribbon helmet, ribbon boots, etc....

Lancet Jades
07-18-2004, 12:11 PM
Umm...we're talking about FF10. Each person only has 1 armor type...

Zelphiel
07-18-2004, 01:26 PM
oh yeah... I forgot about that.

meh... I don't know what I was thinking.

Lancet Jades
07-19-2004, 12:52 AM
oh yeah... I forgot about that.

meh... I don't know what I was thinking.
Lol, you were thinking? I think that's the problem...

Anyways, as i have learned, another annoying attack on SotN is any enemyt fire atack. It throws you back >_<

Zelphiel
07-19-2004, 12:55 AM
no... petrify is the really annoying sotn attack (before you're protected against it).

btw... when did you get sotn?

Lancet Jades
07-19-2004, 01:14 AM
Yeah, petrify is annoying, but this is most annoying NON-STATUS ailment attack :P

Zelphiel
07-19-2004, 01:17 AM
damn... I made this thread too. :lancy

getting hit underwater is probably the most annoying non status ailment attack in it.

Lancet Jades
07-19-2004, 01:22 AM
I'll agree with you there, lol. Damn the fishheads >_<

Zelphiel
07-19-2004, 01:26 AM
yeah... a tip for the future, in the inverted castle. the wolf can swim upwards in the water.

Lancet Jades
07-19-2004, 02:35 AM
yeah... a tip for the future, in the inverted castle. the wolf can swim upwards in the water.

Sneeze by Chupon is annoying. Lots of status effects like stone suck even tho they are excluded from this. Attacks that knock you back to where you can attack like in Xenosaga suck too. Bind, slow, stop attacks. Attacks that can't be blocked or countered.
