I know this may sound very random -
but Thomas Edison pissed me off...

What a jackass...

This is partly because of his treatment of N. Tesla, a historical figure I greatly admire -
but also just simply his character and form of manner...

That and I know for sure he robbed several people blind of their intellectual gifts and ideas...

So, anyway - you guys have anyone in history you'd like to go back in a time machine to meet and then punch in the face - or beat their knees in with a rod...?

Lets see...to take the cake...probably would have to Henry the VIII. So many wives and all. It really was a pain in the ass to learn about that guy too in history class.

I thought that he wasn't that bad to learn about. I don't remember all of his wives now tho.

Ghengis Khan is 1 i'd like to punch in the face just to say I found a strong warrior and I punched him out for the 10 count.

James Booth just because he killed a good president.

The guy who got Brandon Lee killed but that really isn't history I guess.

I have others too im sure I just have to think about it more.

He was annoying as hell. All they talked about in class is...wife 1...woops there she goes heres wife 2 and so on and so forth. --'''' They really never said anything major he did besides creating his own church in england so he could divorce so many times.

How does that bother anybody?

I'd kick John Wilkes Booth's ass so bad. Oh goodness, there wouldn't be any John Wilkes Booth left when I was done with his bitch ass.

And I'd fuck up England.
All of it.

On Mals logic I'd fuck up America, simply because I don't want it there.

Anyway, historical figure I'd like to punch, Jesus for one springs to mind, maybe a few midriff punches to Mary if I couldn't get access to him.

It annoyed me cause it was worthless info to me while learning about england back then. All it was was talk about his wives and how he created a new church in england. He didn't do anything major that really helped england that much. And....is jesus really a historical figure....wouldn't he fall under biblical instead?

Err, yes - he's a historical figure because aside from biblical basis - he was an important historical figure who changed several aspect of known time line.

He is even a figure outside of christianity - such as with Muslims who took him as something differant,
along with India where he supposedly died and were he served a role similar to confuscious...

The church of england was a very important point on the basis of history - it marked a point where an entire nation broke of the control of the catholic church who at the time held immense political power...

I only knew vaguely of the Muslim reference, though didn't know they shared similarities with Confuscious which only adds to my wanting to punch him. But yeah, even so the logic behind him in a biblical sense can be taken as a historical standard since notions revolving around him as the church is concerned is conceived as facts of history. So to think of Jesus as a biblical person is to think of him as a historical figure anyway.

I second Thomas Edison

God, what a cock-smoker. Some of the things he did seriously make me cringe.

Anyway, I'd fuck up England, not because I don't want it there, but because if I were Mel Gibson, England would be the Jews: They started all the wars in the world.
They're responsible for at least 80% of the middle eastern conflict today.

Speaking of logic, you'd punch Jesus because...?

Of his impact on modern society and society for the past 2000 years. For the wars and hatred that is still evident in his name and from his devoted minions, for the countless lives lost and ruined through the ages because of it. Every religious corporation deserves to have their deity punched in the face for some reason or another, Jesus just is a perfect place to start.
