Dead Rising: Revisted

The basic concept is that similar to the Dead Rising game, except that, if you wish to be allied w/ me, you will be a zombie, or @ least undead.

I did not create an RP card because I typically don't transfer my chars between RPs. My undead guy has no place in a Ghost Recon RP. Fairly obvious why. If need be, I will create a card for each char I make. That's not a problem. However, before I waste my time and do so, I wanna see if anyone else out there is interested in the concept. We can discuss and set up said RP AFTER I see some interest.

If I did not follow procedure and am indeed @ fault, I invite a mod/admin to correct me. I'm still pretty much new, so it'd be nice to at least get off on the right footing.

Dead Rising is a Xbox 360 action game, based around zombies etc.

As for how this RP will work, AK will have to explain. I'm sure he'd be happy to, if he knew folks were interested though.

Glad to hear! Counting AK and myself, we'd have 3 people to play. Although, i'm hoping another few people(or more!) will come forth as well. But if not, we'll still start something :)

Ok, basic story of Dead Rising is that you, a freelance photographer, are trapped in a mall, filled w/ zombies. I never beat the game (I don't own a 360, but I did rent it and play w/ a friend. we swapped off every so often), but the idea is to survive the 72 game hours that you're in there. There are tons of interactive items and such in the game that you can use to beat down zombies w/. A personal fav is the chainsaw, but there's also lawnmowers, vases, signs, handguns and a few rifles, all kinds of stuff. You're in a mall. Use it.

Now, Grave and myself are going to be zombies/undead instead of a pathetic mortals, who pretty much just suck. Because we can, and... humans suck. Undead = 1337. If you like, you can be mortal, but I don't really suggest it. It's a personal opinion, after all. However, because you will obviously join us or die, we're going to come up w/ some kinda cool twist. I'm not sure what yet. I'm thinking. Feel free to brainstorm something.

Count me in defintly AK. Q though: Can you start out a Living Mortal person and get yourself changed later on or something? How would that work?

This is also not a definite choice of my starting alliance by the way.

PS: I will only make an RP card if this char starts out as a mortal. Obviously this would be the end of his story if he gets changed, and all other stores would be before this time period. If I start out undead I agree with AK about the card. And I'll do the same as him with multiple cards or what not if need be.

I have no problems w/ that. If you wanna start out mortal and we can just eat your face off or something, sure.

...That's a bit of sarcasm, BTW. Thought I'd make that clear. But for great justice, we can do something and make you t3h undead, or equivalent. I are the latter, the equivalent part. I still don't have a real decent setting. We can do a mall, that's always fun (MOAR chainsaws!), but that's unoriginal.

well, a mall or a small village could be fun...but way too cliche' for this sort've thing. Maybe a deserted island or something, and people crash there? I dunno...

Yeah, let's make it a big theatre. If not a movie theatre, than a play theatre. That could be interesting.

If by play theatre, you mean similar to the Opera House in Hitman: Blood Money? That was a great lvl. Undead would totally rock there. I support that suggestion also.

It's been quite a few days since there were any replies. If @ least Hawk and Grave are still interested, I'd like to start. Anyone else is more than welcome to join in @ any time. We'll welcome all and fit you into the storyline.

Very well. I'm not going to make any specific form off the bat for your character. It seems most of you have RPed before, and know what's relatively necessary. Backstory, equipment, general looks, maybe some personality if that's not mentioned in the backstory, etc. Surprise me.

...And don't be stupid w/ it. I'll come up w/ an introduction or something when I have time.
