They told me 1:30...,
they don't pick up till 2:15...
they say 20 minutes and take an hour...
at well past 3:00 they arrive...

I have to go in the back..., and my sister has the seat all the way back...
instead of simply putting it back so I can sit - she makes me go around the car to the other side...,
I get frustrated and slam the door and go around to the other side...
They lock the door as I reach to open it...
They give me a dirty look, and as I open again and go inside..., they tell me I'm being rude...
I try to tell them how much their pissing me off - about getting there late and how their acting...,
they simply put the radio on full blast...

seconds later - I'm out of the car...
I'm now forced to walk for an hour - in an all black gi,
with indoor sandals...,
through construction and road...

I'll be honest - I was pissed at them, and yelled obscene things - but I can't see myself in the wrong...
and now I have a wrench....
and I'm going to beat the living crap out of that stupid car until they apologize....
their only lucky the took my sword with them in the car...

Why is it always family that treats me worse than strangers....?

Maybe because with family, it's much easier to take them for granted, and to know the person?

Maybe they were already in a bad mood before they picked you up..? That is family tho, stranger won't be man to you really unless they are complete pricks or you say something a bit out of line to them.

In reality, I meant friends and others, more than strangers...
But in the end..., I walked and attacked myself before doing so, threw the wrench..., and just went to work...

As much as it annoyed me - acting out of anger wouldn't have solved anything...,

and though I agree with you Lades...,
there's a differance between taking someone for granted, and the getting mad at being disrespected - I didn't say anything about them being late, incredibly late, but I'm not taking shit and hearing them ask me to apologize for being mad when I feel afronted...

Never of the many times I've done them a favor, have I ever acted in such a manner...
But still, I'm ok now..., I won't bring it up again - it's unimportant now anyways...

it's probly because since you're family they know that you won't retaliate the way you would if it was a stranger... especially if you've let them get away with a lot of bs in the past.
