If you missed my review of Lumines (http://www.evermoreforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14557) then tough shit, but it wasn't a very good review anyway.
When I saw that there was a Lumines 2 I shat myself. I promptly changed underwear and began being a niggard and putting off buying it. I finally picked it up, and it's better than the original. Shiiiit, like 3 times better. The skins and block styles are so much hotter, they actually have known (though possibly bad) artists on the tracks, and there's a synthesizer so you can create your own songs. The vs. mode is... beautiful, again, the challenge mode is beautiful... again. There's a new mission mode, and an updated puzzle mode, which I still dunno how the fuck to beat.
They removed single skin mode, which is as bad a choice as getting drunk and fucking your sister, but they replaced it with Skin Edit mode, where you create your own loops of skins that you've unlocked (like a playlist), so it's only like fucking your stepsister... she has nice tits.
The synthesizer is oh so simple, there aren't enough sounds to choose from, so it's not too good, but it's something else to do on the disc.
It comes with a demo of the game EEE (Every Extend Extra), also made by "Q?". It was actually really good, cuz when I saw EEE in stores I said "*gasp* It's by "Q?"... but what the fuck is it"... I still won't buy EEE though, it doesn't appeal to me too much.
Uhm... buy it. There's no learning curve or anything, it plays like the first, but better.
So buy it... now.
