This is where you tell which Combo's that the Baddies of RPG's have given you all at once.
For me...
It has been Confused, Sleep, and Poison...
It sucked..

Beserk+Blind
Well if they weren't blind it would be alright because I like beserk but they never hit when they're blind. That can be a real pain when the rest of your party is asleep or stoned.

Lol, actually, Grand Cross can do EVERY POSSIBLE AILMENT, INCLUDING DEATH.
And, because of Grand Cross, i'll say Zombie/Death.

there's also the zombie/full life thing that seymour did in FFX (one of the only intelligent enemy strategies in the game)

Yeah, but that wasnt hard to counter. Zombie/death is really hard to counter, especially vs. Necron in FF9 >_<

I equipped a Thornlet and the Curse Shield in FF6...worse than ANY malbor could ever be...poison, slow death, berserk, confused, blind, mute, condemned all at once, and incurable.

well... you can sort of cure it. If you wear a ribbon at the same time the only effect that works on you is condemned.

Petrify and Stop are also very annoying. If you have high HP and you won't die a few rounds of stop or petrify can kill you very easily.

or in games when it kills you if there's only one person in your party :lancy

Yeah. Another really annoying thing is in SO2, in the final tower, there are these worm things that eat your chars. I use 3 fighters and Rena, and its easy to just keep pressing X and get all your characters swallowed up by not being careful enough.

If you're AVD and parry skill are high enough, you'll be all but immune to being eaten.

Is that really an ailment though... I don't think it is.
Lancet Jades
07-13-2004, 02:15 AM
Well.....it sort of is. It doesnt cause direct damage, and if you escape from them, you're left poisoned lol.
