Yet, if the owner of the house were to uses excessive force on you, or to be blunt, causes you great harm while in their house, it's possible for you to press charges agaisnt the owner of the house?

And also, a woman ran her husband over with a steamroller and escaped charges due to temporary insanity. She was on her period.

well as long as you claim and can prove self defense it is legal.

there are alot of ways to get out of it, the say 3 times rule

lets say a cop is in your house, you tell me to leave, iof he has nothing on you and is just there to "talk" tell me to leave 3 times, if he doesnt then, you can kick his ass til' he does and its ok, same thing on this matter... someone comes in your house, tell em to leave 3 times then kick his ass (only works if you have someone around to back your story) doesnt matter if its family either ^_^

It's almost in the same way they use the whole excessive force ideas... If some guy starts a fight, but you so conveniently have a baseball bat on hand and you decimate him, even if to defend yourself in the fight, you can be charged with excessive force.

Say a girl thinks she being followed, she can turn around and beat the living hell out of the person yet a man cannot do the same to a woman when being followed fo they can press charges.

My house has had its front fence broken down and the only reason i escaped charges was because i had registered the party and the baseball bat was cleaned afterwards. Considering everyone was drunk they didnt know what happened. Needless to say he woke up with more then just a hangover in the morning.

also because i was with a female friend and we had this asshole following us i was able to chase the bastard down the street screaming jibberish and waving a hatchet above my head. Yet at the first sign of loud music past 10pm im warned for noise pollution and distrubing the peace.
