This is an old story kupo! One past down for moogle generations.
It started over 1000 years ago, a great war it was, kupo.
A war unlike any other before, for this war lasted only a short time before its end
FINAL FANTASY: WAR OF LORDS
Legend has it that a very long time ago there were many worlds revolving around the same sun, kupo.
In each of these worlds was a Lord of great power, a power that isn’t seen much today.
Each Lord that ruled over there own world, wanted to rule over all worlds, kupo!
But there was one problem… the ruler of all Lords.. The creator of good and evil, would not let this happen
For each would rule over only there worlds, and leave the others alone.
After some time, these Lords over there own worlds all had great army’s of there element.
Many of the Lords gathered in a uninhabited planet called Ivalice, and on this planet.. The war begins.
For three weeks the great powers of these Lords unleashed many evils into the planet of Ivalice, bringing there army’s of element with them, the sky grew dark, and everything beautiful in Ivalice was destroyed, Kupo.
But once the creator of all saw what was going on, he got angry, kupo!
He unleashed his power on them, killing many, and hurting even more.
Then he took away there powers, kupo… and destroyed there worlds where they once ruled over all.
He sentenced them all to there own corners of Ivalice, kupo. Giving them only a little power back, so that he could watch over them more easily.
He then made man, kupo, and told the lords of old that they must aid man when and if man shows worthy..
Then he sent down angels, in moogle form, kupo! And told the moogles to look over the Lords of old, and make sure they come to the aid of any man worthy.
I have been here many long years, kupo, watching over the lords of old, and teaching young moogles to do the same, but this is not our only job, kupo.. Not our only job at all..
We must also help mankind, just as the lords of old. Though we must not wait to be summoned as they do. We must go out, and find someone to help, if not our job may never be done, kupo!
