FF addictions

what was it about the first FF you played, that made you want to play the others?..

my first was FF1, i really liked it, i saw my bothers play zelda at the time, and thought that FF1 was way better.. when i got the chance to get the others.. i did, when i played FF6 it was like.. i dont know, the best game of all times.. i didnt think it could be any better that that, so i go the others to see.. by the time FF8 came out, i was so hooked on FF that it wasnt funny, i played other games, but FF was the only series i played over and over again, when Ff9 came out, i was ready for it.. and it was good to me because i mostly played the old school FFs, and FF9 had that feel to it, FF10 wasnt good to me, because again, i like the old school games more, and FF10 and 10-2 are nothing like the FFs i grow to love...
though i really think that i'll like FF12, and the movie on FF7, im more happy about hearing that older FFs, like 1 & 2 are coming to GBA.. i would love to see FFMQ and the real FF3 hit GBA... when that happens, if that happens, i may just cry for joy ^_^;

why did you keep playing?

also, when will it end for you?

in looking at FF now, there are so many... will it end?.. FF 12 + X2 FFt FFTA FFMQ, and so on..theres alot of games, will FF12 truly be the last numberd FF in the series?.. how many FFCC games will there be?... who knows, it could go on for many more years IMO

but the series will one day end to me, though it might keep going, if 12 is the last in numarels it is the last of the true series, and if FFCC goes on as a series, i'll stop at FFCC-6

so IMO, FF ends soon for me, will it end for you? or will you keep playing them

FF4 was the first that I actually cared about. I played it because I really liked the story and the music.

I first played FF6, and i just immediately liked it. FF4 was the first FF i saw, but i didnt play it till after 6.

I played FF6 first, which is what hooked me.

When will I stop? I dunno..possibly when they make a game worse than FF9 (hard to do but hey it can happen)

7 was the first i played and it will end whenn there are 2 crappy ones in a row

It will probably never end for me. For the older games that I love anyway. As for the new, it won't end as long as the make something that's at least remotely entertaining.

First i played was 1, first i played and actually sat through was 7 though. NO FF actually made me want to play the others since i have always looked at eachgame seperately and been selective in picking them, since the market is average at best.

Why do i keep playing, because compared to some games in the genre they are of better quality as a whole.

when will it end for me, when there comes more quality games like Shadow Hearts, Legend of Legaia and Legend of Dragoon types. It will end when the other companies manage to ship good games.

Final Fantasy 4 got me into most of the other series

FF1 was the first one I played but the first one that hooked me was FF4. I like the music and my favorite character was Rydia. I was sooo happy when you get her back later in the game. I have no idea when it will end for me.

for me it was a FF 7, i used to go and play Bingo with my mother and one night i won 200 bucks, and went straight to Wally world and brought a PS1, up until then i had been a strickly NES man. I wanted to play final fantasy 7, so i brought the Playstation. You guys remember the commercial for the game, it had me salivating, i wanted it so bad. Come to to think of it, i don't know why i never played FF on NES, i just didn't get into games until my twenties. played Zelda on NES, I remember playing Ultima on something and others, but never any FF. D*** my memories i can't remember anything anymore. FF7 was the game the hooked me though.

FF4 was my first FF. Although FF Adventure, FFMQ, and FF Legends 1, 2, and 3 kinda fractured my faith in the series even worse than FF8.
