Anyone, but only one, can accept.
---
It wasn't far from the Human city. The thick forest loomed all around Tadao Vontagon as he walked through it, into an open clearing. It was familiar to him, because he had been here many times. Mostly to think. He recalled a few battles he's had here before. Some of them had been ambushes, as well.
Tadao glanced towards the west, to the setting sun, bathing the clearing in an orange-red glow.
Not many clouds in this sky...
Here being Earth. At least that's what they called it. It was rather nice here, too. Tadao made a habit of coming back to this world, and this specific spot more than once. He asked himself many times if he stopped, would attacks stop? Not likely, he had told himself. Still, he wouldn't think why he couldn't enjoy the rest of this day in meditation.
But...
Something's wrong...
Not making any reaction, he continued onwards to the collage of rock pillars and hills that litter the field. In the middle of them, suitable cover from fire was given to his lizard-like form.
I've had enough.
"Show yourself! I would like to know who would dare attempt to sneak up on me!"
Readying himself in a battle stance, he lacked his light armor, but was prepared to meet this stealthy figure with whatever need be.

Sure thing. You're in. I also just realized I didn't do my character's move list in the RP card section, so I think I'll do that anyway.
Edit: Kek, now I'm waiting on your response. o.o

"Oh, so you want to fight? I'm game.", Said the intruder, adopting a battle stance. To Tadao, he had seen this stance many times before. A street fighting position, but it didn't strike him as a common one, at least this type.
His clothes also
"Very well!" Tadao roared in response, running up to the man again, swinging his left leg in a roundhouse kick. The man effortlessly moved out of the way and responded with a karate chop to Tadao's neck while he was off balance. His knee hit the ground as he blocked the karate chop with a open fist, palm outward.
"Impressive." Tadao whispered to the man, who smirked. Then, rising to his feet in a fraction of a second, concentrated his energy to his feet.
Do it...NOW!
A fuchsia glow surrounded his combat boots, to which he pushed upward, putting his Saurian form above his opponent. Somersaulting once, Tadao came downwards, with a flying kick, aimed at the man's head. However, it never connected!
How could any Human be as fast!? Tadao thought as his foot slamed into the ground, his psychic force adding power to his physical impact, create a small dirt cloud around him. The man was no where to be seen.
That does it...
Waving away the cloud with more of his power, he let the full potential of his psychic power wash over him, turning his eyes into a pure fuchsia glow, while it surrounded his form as well, giving off the effect as if there was a sun glowing behind him.
One other thing is now clear to me, he thought as he studied the form of this man. The cries of other people in the town earlier, along with the appearance of this person, coincides with his sense of discomfort. Tadao also noticed broken handcuffs, and a rather sparkling ring as well. Not to mention the scent...
"Hmm, you smell like a thief. Impressive speed, even for such a thief. But enough talk of this, let me see your true power, I'm eager for a good fight!" He spoke, half-yelling across the field in a challenge to the thief's silhouette.
It's all him, now. What is his next move? This is already interesting, Tadao thought as he readied his physical defensive stance, and prepared to unleash his psychic techniques if the case need be.

He had seen it coming. Why the hell didn't he do anything?
Probably should have had more than one doppelganger spawn..., Tadao thought as he pulled the last dagger out of his body. This one was in his left arm. Bad luck, considering that was his main melee arm. He pondered the wounds for a minute. It wasn't often that a knife could penetrate his scales. They had to have been thrown with much force.
Ah well, it did not matter, he thought, I have to bring this guy down, as underestimated as I might have judged him, he is still powerful, and a grave threat with me injured.
Ending these thoughts, he stood up straight, the blood having stopped flowing by now. He turned to look at the thief, and narrowed his eyes.
"It's not often that anyone can land such a blow to me. You should be proud." He told the thief.
"You shouldn't have tried to fight me." The thief replied, raising his head in contempt.
"Be that as it may, however, if not to further my training, perhaps I should not kill you. But where's the fun in that?"
As the thief readied himself for an attack heralded by this statement, Tadao's psychic glow, which had faded due to the brazen attack, returned, and he brought his hands together, letting the claw tips arc and touch each other. Concentrating on a spot behind the thief, he then opened his eyes with fury, a fuchsia glow emitting from them like lightning.
"FOCUS BLITZ!" He shouted, vanishing on the spot.
In the blur of the void of time, he saw the thief jerk in panic, but as he couldn't hear anything in the void, he didn't know what he said, apart from when he re-entered the reality.
"-he go? Not good." He heard the last part of the thief's statement as he came up behind him.
"Good morning." Tadao snarled. The thief wheeled about as a kick met his jaw, sending him flying at least thirty feet away. Tadao ducked behind a stone pillar while the thief was down, exhaustion taking effect from one of his most potent and draining abilities.
Regaining his composure after several seconds, he looked around the pillar to check on the status of the thief, when he saw a terrible sight. He was not there!
"Fantastic." He muttered to himself, checking behind him for a sneak attack, before he noticed a shadow over him, "Oh."
"'Oh' is right, you scaled fiend!" shouted the thief and he leaped off the pillar towards Tadao. He sidestepped, but the thief landed on his feet and used the reverse momentum to charge at Tadao, who blocked his punch by crossing both arms in front of him. Pain followed, the punch landed on his left arm's wound. He gritted his teeth.
"Your power tricks won't save you this time." The thief declared as arced upward, a kick flying towards Tadao's chin, under his arms. Letting his arms go, the kick hit the palm of his right hand, which caught it.
"What the-" The thief began, only to be interrupted by the glow in Tadao's eyes rising again, and readied a punch, "Hah! Going to vanish again?"
"Didn't you ever learn to watch your back?" Tadao told him, grinning wickedly. The thief looked over his shoulder, only to see what was coming was far too late to avoid. The five kunai knives he sunk into Tadao's flesh earlier, were now speeding through the air directly for his back, surrounded by a purple glow.
"Impossible!"
"With psychic manipulation, anythings possible."
And with that, Tadao released his foot, and dodged to the side, as the daggers his, and sunk into his back, knocking the thief to the ground. Unfortunately, the thief did manage to punch the side of Tadao's face as he fell, causing a thick stream of red blood to roll down his chin. Prompty wiping it away, he distanced himself from the body of the thief, knowing he was not dead, not in the slightest.
Now, fifty feet away, he saw the thief rising to his feet, although with much trouble.
"Heh, damn...you." The thief muttered, as he reached for the Kunais in his back.
"Consider yourself lucky, I was aiming for your spine." Tadao shot at him, and thus, awaited his opponents next move.

"Whaaa-" Tadao yelled as a sword barely missed him, cutting deep into the tree, distracting him while he was charging his fireball technique. It seemed as if in slow motion, the man disappeared, then reappeared in front of him, and delivered a very powerful kick to the side of Tadao's head, sending him plummeting over and down a nearby cliff at the edge of the forest, beyond the clearing. This all happened in a matter of seconds.
Arising from his dizzy daze of being hit that hard, he realized he was not even a minute from the pillar-covered ravine below, which would not be pretty if he fell down there.
"Heh...if." He muttered to himself, before turning over in midair, with the air rushing past his ears. Focusing his power once again, he brought his hands together, then spread them outwards in a bird-like position, before the technique was complete.
The rushing speed of the air began to slow down as Tadao began to levitate using the power of his telekinesis to hold himself aloft in the air. Closer than a hundred meters towards the sharp-ended pillar he was about to fall into, he had stopped in mid-air. Pouring more of his power into his anti-gravity-like aura, Tadao now began to rise upward. Slowly at first, then picking up speed, until, after a few minutes since he plummeted off the cliff, he was no above the trees, and could see the clearing. Angling his body forward, he sped towards it, landing softly behind a small hill. Upon flying in, he saw the back of his opponent. Though it was a noisy entrance, he was sure that the man wouldn't expect him to return.
"Someone there?" He heard the man say.
Poking his head around the corner, Tadao saw him glancing around himself, checking for any one around. Tadao smirked, and began to step out from behind the small hill, and while doing so, his hand brushed the side of his face. It felt wet. Slightly surprised, he checked the back of his hand, and it was red with his own blood, apparently flowing from his lip, where the kick connected.
That kick was far more powerful than I thought. I wonder why it didn't snap my neck. I can't take chances with this guy, anymore.
Purposely stepping on a stick, snapping it several feet away from the man, whose back was stlll, Tadao stood there, awaiting a response. The thief slowly turned his head, then his body, as shock took hold of him.
"What?! How did you...survive that?!" He exclaimed, jumping to his feet, adopting a wary stance.
"Fortunately for me, telekinesis serves more purpose than controlling mid-air daggers. You cannot get rid of Commander Tadao so easily." Tadao replied, clenching his fists in anger.
"Enough of this. You will die now!" The man now charged him, throwing a dagger towards his face.
Reacting to it, he used a slight amount of power to alter its course to the side just enough to miss, and moved in the opposite direction, avoiding the two-pronged attack. Sliding to a halt on a dirt patch, the thief about-faced, three more kunai daggers in hand. Tadao was already on top of him, though, with his tribal sword in hand. The man also drew his, and was in a position to block Tadao's airborne strike.
"Come, let us talk with swords!" Tadao yelled, clashing swords with the thief.
What is going on with me? I can't get one hit through!, Tadao thought as their swords collided with each other time after time. Roughly five minutes had passed just doing this, before his frustration began to mount.
Dropping off his feet, supporting his fall with his right arm, he then swung both feet in a sweeper motion towards the thief's feet. Surprised, but not to be defeated so easily, he jumped over the attack, and while midair, drew his sword in a downwards stabbing motion.
"It's over!" He yelled to Tadao, before dropping down, by the forces of gravity, to where Tadao lay.
The sword struck...but it hit the ground. Tadao rolled at the last instant, propelling himself further with a leg trust from the ground. Rolling to his feet right after the sword embedded itself in the ground, he then concentrated his energy into his right arm, and charged the thief, who tried to get out of the way, but it was already too late. Scooped up by a blow to the stomach, the thief was being towed along as Tadao's rampaging run continued towards one of the stone pillars in the middle of the clearing.
"You're right," Tadao whispered into the ear of the man as they quickly approached the pillar, "It is over!"
Ending his exclaimation, he threw him into the pillar, shattering it, sending good size pieces of stone in all directions. The thief rolled to a halt, outstretched in the clearing. Tadao knew he could not rest, as he was still breathing. And behold! He was rising again to his feet.
"By the stars," Tadao murmured to himself in disbelief and amazement, "How is this man still standing? Even a Saurian wouldn't withstand that after the incredible beating he's already been through."
All he could do is get in another fighting stance, while staring at the hunched over form of the human thief in utter amazement.

"SKY TO GROUND FINISH!" The theif yelled. At this point they were racing towards the ground, Tadao spinning completely out of control, towards the rising earth.
Too fast! He thought. The wind was rushing by too fast for him to raise his arms to brace for impact. What happened next, he couldn't remember. All he knew is that half of his body was now incased in the earth's solid grip, effectively becoming a coffin.
At least, Tadao thought, It will be if I remain here with my head in the sand...literally.
Not far away, he heard the theif say something as his voice grew ever fainter to his submurged ears.
"The name's Jake, Tadao. Thanks for being such a strong opponent."
So, his name was Jake, huh? He'll have to remember that.
When I etch it on his grave! He thought, as his eyes opened to the damp earth, glowing once again. The ground literally erupted, spitting him out, with rocks and dirt flying in every which way. Shaking his head and eyes free of sand, he noticed Jake has turned in surprise, staring at him.
"Going somewhere?" Tadao roared, now in the full fury of his psychic power, and furious for letting himself get trashed.
Jake just stood there in shock and disbelief.
"That should have killed you!" Jack yelled back. Tadao smirked.
"It would have killed a human, and most likely your average Saurian, that's for certain. However," He tapped a stone with his boot, "I not only am not your average Saurian, but also had luck on my side, apparently."
"No doubt..." Jake now fully turned towards Tadao, who were at least one hundred feet from each other by now, and narrowed his eyes, watching the reptile.
Tadao rolled his neck from side to side, causing many pops and cracks, some of them hurt, as well.
"Somehow, I think i'm going to need to use my ships medkits to restore myself fully after this. That technique was far too powerful, and thus, I must end this battle immediately." He muttered to himself, now letting the fuchsia glow take over his form completely, surrounding him in a bright glow, as if the sun were directly behind his form.
"I take it that you thought the battle was finished." Tadao inquired, curiousity running through the question. He did wonder Jake didn't finish him right then, as it would have been acceptable, at least in the dueling codes of Saurian conflicts. But he kept forgetting, Jake was human, not Saurian. So was it their custom to just walk away and leave the other living? He pondered this as Jake replied.
"Yes. Yes I did. Fortunatly, this seems to not be the case." Jake replied, shrugging his shoulders, but tensing his muscles at the same time. Ready for battle again.
Tadao let out a laugh, a hoarse and hearty one, before replying, "So you do have fight in you! And I am not dissapointed. Let it begin...again!"
He brought his hands together and closed his eyes, concentrating yet again, before opening them suddenly, the fuchsia glow now waving around erratically, "FOCUS BLITZ!"
Appearing behind Jake, he executed a thrusting kick skyward, sending Jake flying on contact with his combat boot. But Jake had other plans. Twirling in midair, he throw a spray of Kunais downward, thrwarting Tadao's plan to follow up the strike. Forced to dodge quickly, he slid on the ground, bringing his right arm to slow the speed, and to maintain balanced as he hunched over. Jake landed not too far away. This had given Tadao enough time to again concentrate his power to his hand. He flung it outward, "SOUL FIREBALL!", he yelled, sending the projectile directly at Jake, who attemted to block it with his sword. An explosion took place.
Perfect.
As the dust cleared, Tadao moved quickly, to behind where Jake's last position was. Sure enough, when the cloud dispersed, there was Jake, but his sword had shattered due to the force of the fireball! Yet his form remained unharmed, at least from the fireball itself. Drops of blood them fell to the ground, surprising the Saurian. As Jake turned to search for Tadao, he noticed that a fragment of his sword had flew into his shoulder. It was not a pretty sight. Quickly, he recomposed himself, and stood upright, palms outstretched. Focusing again, he charged his energy. At this point, Jake saw him, and ran up to Tadao's form, punching with his remaining arm, trying to hit him. A punch connected, making Tadao lose his concentration. He fell to the ground, cursing in his native tounge.
"You are full of nothing if you think I'll sit there and let you blast me to hell." Jake snarled over Tadao.
Tadao learned over to the side and spat blood out of his mouth. The taste was still strong and bitter from the last kick he had recieved earlier.
"Perhaps. But you are full of nothing if you think I'll sit here and let you insult me while i'm alive!" He ended with a roar, making Jake take a step back, reaching for his kunais. Tadao rocketed to his feet and beyond, uppercutting Jake into the sky above the clearing. While in the air, Tadao knew this was his chance.
Unlocking the mental barriers he had placed upon himself early in his life, he knew there was unrivaled power, untapped. As he felt the power surge through his body, he brought both hands together, with both sets of fingers outstretched, towards Jake's falling form. And this is where he concentrated every iota of his remaining power.
"FOCUS....KRIEG!!!!!" He roared, a massive fuchsia lance forming at his fingers, and rocketing outwards like a bolt of lightning. Tadao slumped to the ground, drained of his power. Looking up, he watched the lance.
It made contact. As it soared away from Jake, he knew he had been hit. A massive gaping hole was evident through his chest as he fell, and hit the ground. He was still breathing, however. Quickly, Tadao jogged over to where his form was. Jake was struggling to breathe, now. As Tadao kneeled to watch him die, he felt Jake's hand on his shoulder.
"You are a good fighter." Jake struggled.
"As are you," Tadao whispered, "This battle will not be forgotton by me. You have faught, and died, with honor."
Jake simply nodded, as the blood leaked from the sides of his mouth, and his breathing stopped. Everything seems to have stopped, now.
It was later, that Tadao had finished putting the last of the dirt back onto the grave of Jake. Giving him a final salute as he walked off, Tadao again, looked to the sky, wondering how many more worthy fighters there are in this world...He shrugged, he'll find others to fight with, to test and better himself, and hopefully, like the fight with Jake, would struggle to push him to his limits to emerge victorious. He grinned at the setting sun.
Here I come.
