Square Enix announced Final Fantasy I & II Advance for GameBoy Advance, the game is scheduled to release in Japan in July, for 6090 yen. Both games will feature additional stories and dungeons not found in the original game.

Though 8 is my favorite FF, I don't think there's one person in existence who has played all FFs and dislikes 6, so I'm going to have to go with 6. Best game ever? Absolutely not! But that doesn't mean it's not the best of its series ^^

If you voted for VIII, you need re-educating. It was too easy, storyline was poor, and it just lacked the whole FF vibe that I've gotten from every other FF (Except X-2, that was crap).

In it's defense, though, FFVIII did have one of my favorite characters in it....

I've been educated and re-educated in the FF series, changing my views on the games time and again, and I find that VIII is a very well-done and enjoyable game. On one end you can say it has holes that are filled in by debating fans. But on the other you can say it was unique and interesting and makes you come back to play it again and again.

A lot of people diss FF8, but I loved it. In my view, it's second in the FF stakes only to FF7. All the other FF's have left me cold, especially FF9 and FF10 (10 was a good idea and all, but to actually complete the game properly you need to level up for hours and hours and hours.....ruined it for me).

My two best FF's are 7 and 8. I'll vote for FF7 because it's overall ''better'' if you want, but I love FF8 too much too, especially it's music!

Whoa...I am really impressed with the people at this forum. First forum I've ever been to where Final Fantasy VI is considered the best by the most people. Normally Final Fantasy VII always wins.

My vote went to Final Fantasy VI, because it has affected me in so many ways, especially since it was my first Final Fantasy game.

There's a lot of other good games up there too though - All except VIII, X, and X-2 to be exact. Hahaha.

I just didn't like FFX nor VIII. None of the characters interested me, and after a while, they got incredibly annoying. Without good characters, I can't stand the game. But since they were Final Fantasy games, of course I had to play them all the way through and beat them. :p

Yeah. FFIV sits up there as my second favorite Final Fantasy game. It was basically the only game I had for over 2 years, so I played it non-stop, probably beating it at least 100 times. I still have the game, and my saves, which I won't let anyone touch the game because of. Hahah. I won't even touch the game because of them.
