It seems that the rap industry is totally surronded around materialism and selling out to the hippest gear the latest new cars the latest everything with lots of it and constant references to products. Tell us what you think.

its not like it used to be man...i think maybe one of the reasons is that for sooo long the black ppl where under everybody and couldent get-do anything and those who can now like to show the rasist ppl left in the world that there comeing up and getting what most of them cant get lol...it needs to be broght back to the way it was back in the day when every song had a diff point, now it is all about who has the new $hit and who has tha most hoes lolol

yeah, I guess so :lancy

the only newer rap that I've listened to (this was just channel surfing and it landed on MTV) is Outkast. I like his stuff a lot more than most of it. He's waay different from almost everyone else.

I like some rap...But the most rap I listen to is from Psychopathic Records (Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Colton Grundy, Anybody Killa, Jumpsteady, Dark Lotus, Esham, Psychopathic Rydas) but I do listen to some others like, 3-6 Mafia, 2 Live Crew, Kotton Mouth Kings, Tech N9ne...

Anyway,

A lot of rap IS selling out or IS sold out, but there is also a lot that isn't sold out...Like most of the ones stated above aren't sold out or anything...And I think there are two major reasons that people sell out...

More Money and More Fame...thats all it comes down to...
