Breath of Fire: most underated character

I think that Rand and Sten (from BoF2) are very underated. No one ever talks about them, which is a shame. Rand (when leveled up) is the strongest fighter in the game, minus Ryu with the Empire Sword. Sten is a smartass monkey. What's not to like about that.

Hmmm....Peco in BOF3 can be really powerful if you give him time

Bleu (and her bof 3/4 counterpart... I can't remember her name in those) is a little underated too. Hell... everyone in the series but Ryu and Nina are. :rolleyes

Jean is underrated as well. When you mix him with the holy and water shaman he gets a techinique where he can randomly take 999 away from everything on the screen..I don't remember the name of it though and it doesn't always work.

yeah, and the cooking scene in his castle is funny as hell.

I think Bo in BOF1 is underrated too. He's incredibly useful earlier in the game, and continues to be through fusion w/ Karn.

The BoF3 and 4 counterpart of Bleu is Deis.

I too can't remember Jean's skill.

Its something like "Poke" or something...it usually does 1 damage...

who do you think the most overated characters are?

I think that Nina is the most overated. Sure, she's an angel chick but that doesn't stop her from sucking worse than anyone else in just about all the games.

I've always liked Nina she has some of the most useful spells. Hmm overrated...I'll just go with Gobi...I didn't really use him all that much even though he wasn't that bad of a character either.

Karn was underrated, but i usually use his fusion forms. I gues that means its technically he's useful...
