Favorite Suikoden Strategist

My favorite has always been Shu. To me, he's like a somewhat less evil version of Albert. Leon Silverberg is also really cool. He's one of those quiet old guys that you just know is badass. (he knows how to summon Yuber... that's at least worth something)

Hmmm....i liked Shu, but to me, Mathiu was the best. He really knew his stuff.

Albert is my favorite..shu used to be. Albert manipulated an entire war...granted he is a self-serving bastard but at the same time he's a good strategist...lol

Yeah, Albert is cool, and its amazing that he was able to do what he did...but Mathiu managed to pull out victory after victory in S1, whereas Shu had his fair share of failures and close calls...

Shu did something in his spare time that I would do... (making boat loads of money with his strategy :D). I guess that's why I like him the most. He really doesn't care at all about war, but when it comes down to it he can be a real badass.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention Albert is hot...:D Anyway, Leon is probably the best strategist out of all of them(the best we've see so far anyway) I love his theory...he doesn't care which side wins so long as it's over as quicky as possible and with as little loss of life as possible.

there's [what's her name] that's going to be in Suikoden 4. I'm wondering how great she will turn out to be. I think she's the beginning of the Silverberg line of strategists.

Julian Silverberg was the first strategist in the Silverberg line. He helped Kranach Rugner break away from Harmonia. Which is how the Scarlet Moon Empire got started.

I think it's cool that suikoden IV will have a female strategist...she's supposedly a boozer...heh heh I bet she'll be an awesome strategist. From what I've seen from the trailer she's a good character.

Probably not since she's the strategist. I just saw her talking and she said something like..."Those who fear runes can leave. No one will stop you." I just like that line for some reason.

She'll probably end up being the most brashly spoken of all the strategists.

She seems like a rough character so she might be. If Suikoden IV doesn't come out soon I may go insane. Who knows maybe that booze that she is drinking is actually Strategy Juice for all your Strategy Needs. :chuckle

not as good as any of us though, i havent played suikoden 1 in a good few years and i can still probably go hax at it and pwn everyone lol

heck i even forced myself to cheat because it had a 60% chance on de leveling your character lol...supposed to give 800% exp points but backfired :D lol

Shu has been my favorite strategist thus far. When it came to Mathiu and Ceasar, they really didn't have to do much strategizing beyond just a straight-up fight. Shu actually brought the most strategy to the table.

When it comes to personality though, Apple has been my favorite. She has had the most heart out of any of them and I find her to be very respectable even though she doesn't seem to have the talent to be a great strategist.
