Most Controversal game to date

What do you think is the most controversial game that is known to date so far? I'm going to go with Postal 2, although Manhunt took a step farther with the violence, Postal2 was a national phenomonan that caused much controversy.

Probly Mortal Kombat. Although GTA and Manhunt would be up there, when MK came out, i dont think a lot of people were ready for that level of violence, lol.

i can remember pkemon was with religios nuts for some reason i was channel surfing one day a couple years ago and saw them preaching that pokemon was evil on the religious channel lol and pokemon isnt violent or anything lol i can remember them burning some pokemon merchendise too lolol

All tho it didnt get as much attention as some of the other games that have bin named, Conkers Bad Fur Day is way over the line, Drinking, Pissing everywhere, Blowing things heads off with a shotgun, and that strange Sun flower whos boobs you had to bounce on to reach some money....

that would be Valkyrie Wilde. It was some chick by the name of Valkyrie who ran around naked with nothing but a gun..think nude Tomb Raider It ended up on the local news somewhere before PSM came forward and said that it was a joke:chuckle

some of you probably don't remember the impact that the first two MK games had with parents. There were huge parental protests over that game. but, as far as gory games go, Bloodstorm and Thril Kill probably take the cake. They were so violent that they weren't even brought stateside.

i say mortal kombat 2 because everything in 1 was doubled...more blood, more charicters, nastier fatalities...the world just hadnt seen anything like it..Mortal Kombat started the line of Controversal games

GTA 3. I remember they re-released it to like take out some of the violence or foul language or something that was ni the earlier GTA 3 games. So I heard anyway. All the GTA's are looked upon as bad. As soon as someone steals a car and drives away with it guns blazing that is.

I know that The Getaway caused HUGE trouble here. All the Cockneys were super-pissed off at having their language mercilessly raped in the game and the constant Goodfellas style beatings, bloods, guns, violence, swearing etc really upset Middle England. Of course, everyone else thought it was great :D
