Should Hillary Clinton run for the office of the Presidency?

No. I don't think she should. Who knows what she could screw up like clinton did.

Ah, a Clinton hater, I don't think she should be judged by her husband's action as president. I always said that I would vote for a woman president if it ever happened, but just to vote for someone male or female wthout hearing about where they stand on governmental issues is pointless. So I'll just wait and see if she can earn my vote.

Also shes democrat and I am not one of them. So another reason for me to not vote for her.

she could do it, but at this point in her political carreer I don't think she has 'it' yet. If she runs for the presidency at this point it'd be a waste of time.

And usualy people who lose in the running to become president like kerry or gore...we most likely won't hear from them again for running to be president.

that's cause it costs so much to run, but Gore coould easily run again, but he got screwed and maybe doesn't want to chance it again.
I agree with lathan, it may be too soon for her. I'm not really all that political, life's too short for that crap.

Kerry could run again easily too. He is married to the grandaughter of the hienz ketchup guy.

Gunny, I dont think there's one thing on here you said that I can't lecture you about.
Firstly, as Kaffe said, you can't judge someone by what their family did. Take your own family, for example.
Secondly, it doesnt matter if you are a democrat or not, you should vote based on what the individual believes. Plus, just because one test showed that you were a republican doesn't mean you are one - the test does not decide, you do.
Thirdly, There have been many cases where someone has run for president numerous times. Like that guy who ran against McKinley at the turn of the 20th centruy. He ran like 3 or 4 times and never won.
Finally, Heinz is not a ketchup factory. It is a place of secrets, lies, deceit, and murder, that happens to produce ketchup as a byproduct.
Kaffee, she isn't the first woman to run for president by any means. Unfortunately though, she is the most likely candidate at this point to become the first one to win an election.
I dont know why, but I just don't trust her. I'm definately voting against her in the primaries, as I don't want another corrupt conservative in office, and she will probably lose to whoever she runs against.

>.> And you base me upon my family quite a lot. WHo knows...she could always be just as bad as bill was. Maybe worse.

She also could wind up being the best president evar (though its doubtful.)

From what I've seen of her voting record, I agree with her on many of her political stances. I have no reason to dislike her, and thus far think that she would make at least a decent president.
That said, I don't think she should run. Like Lathan said, I don't think she has "it" yet, and I doubt she could gain support from enough people. Even if she did win the primaries, I'm doubtful that she'd pull off a win. Too many people would vote against her on principle, either because she's a woman, because she's a liberal, because she's a Clinton (Gunny), or for some other vague reason not backed in logic (Yvl).
Also, she's been under attack for so long by the right wing media (I did use to listen to conservative talk radio for some time, believe it or not), that at this point I think she's too easy a target for smear campaigning.
In the case that she does run, I'll look further into her voting record and stances compared to those of the other primary candidates, as well as trying to keep up on debates and such. But I doubt she'd win.

Personally, I think Hillary Clinton is my least favorite politician ever *flashes Hillary Clinton $0 Socialist States of America bill*
However, I don't think she'd have much of a chance of winning, so in that sense I'm not too against it.

Psh, these are the times. Then again, if she did win...I think I'd switch roles around here with Yvl in regards to discussing our president...

I would love to have Hillary Clinton as a president. Although I disagree with her extreme stance on video games, she's a great politician. However, I don't know if the majority of Americans are really prepared for a female president. That's my thinking just because I still think there is a good number of people in this country that consider women, the weaker sex. Maybe an election or two from now, I would think she has a higher chance of winning.

What about these two, Lathan was telling me that he heard a joke on some show about these two running, Bush Senior for President and Clinton as Vice President.
Keep in mind that I said it was a joke that Lathan told me about.

I don't see what Clinton possibly screwed up - politicly of course...
But his wife is a major screw up - she messed up medicare, and made it something most people are wary of...
She's too liberal, and doesn't know how to play the game too well when it comes to congress - specially with the republicans.
At least the other idiots know how to get something from the congress, or at least stand up to their principles - she did neither...
I think if the democrats want to win - they'll simply have to find someone new who can actually win some votes...

I don't think she'd ever have a chance of winning. Hilary Clinton is like an insult these days. Too many people hate her out of their asses for it to take off.
Don't judge her based on B.C.'s actions, and if by "screw up" you mean N.A.F.T.A. you have a point. If you mean sexual relations then you have no point at all.

Hell fucking no. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with her ideas, but she's a fucking terrible politician and has been smeared for like thirteen years already; her name has literally become a household curse. She might be able to pull off a primary win if enough candidates siphon votes from themselves, but three minutes of Rush Limbaugh is enough to completely destroy her chances in the general.
