I'd really love to see an actual RPG in the Legend of Zelda series. I'd also like to see an RPG in the Castlevania series.

Mortal Kombat... mainly fighting games. They'd make the best RPGs since fighting games can't portray a storyline very well.

Actually, some Fighting Games like Tekken and Soul Calibur have more elaborate stories than some RPGs I've played.

It's a fun game. You should buy it when you get the cash. It's a lot like Mario RPG... well, the humor is anyway.

If they do a Zelda rpg it sounds appealing. (Maybe with Capcom's help...)

I like the sound of a Mortal Kombat RPG. A Zelda one doesn't really sound that great, because its all about Link and should stay that way.

I think you mean Namco.

yeah, true.....
Capcom helps make most of the zelda games these days... I dunno if that has anything to do with it, but whatever.
A GG rpg would be kinda cool, I guess. When you walk around you could be Sol Badguy with a short body and a big head ^^

A proper Lord of the Rings trad RPG. Not some action/adventure with RPG-ish elements thrown in - a proper one. In the style of FF7, maybe have Legolas, Frodo and Aragorn in yer team. Legolas uses a bow as his weapon, with some Flonne-esque techniques, Frodo could be yer healer and Aragorn yer main attacker! I'm actually quite suprised a proper RPG of it hasn't been made. All there are are the EA action games....

Lord of the Rings the Third Age is an rpg in the LotR World. You don't play as any of the main characters though.

Well that's EXACTLY what I was saying. So my ''ass'' did not get ''beat''. Aw great, now I'm confused. Is this ''Third Age'' any good?

You must be talking about them creating an updated version with better RPG-like gameplay, right?

It's a pretty good game. If you're looking for a FF style lord of the rings game you'd really like it.

Meh, LotR: TTA was strange. I played through it twice and I didn't feel any different than when I started. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad, it just... was. Kind of creeped me out, actually.

Yay! Creepy RPG!! Are we talking Shadow Hearts-type weirdness here, people?

Yay! Creepy RPG!! Are we talking Shadow Hearts-type weirdness here, people? You misunderstand me. The game is completely bland, devoid of anything resembling... a backbone, if you will. That was creepy. It was not a good game, and not a bad game, mainly because it doesn't really try to be anything. It just... is. As Kaiser said, if you like LotR and you like the FFX battle system, you'll enjoy the game. But other than that... *shrug* it just didn't have much form.
While Shadow Hearts was a brilliant game, I wouldn't really call it "creepy"... well, not past the first 30 minutes, anyway.

Come on. In the first 30 mins of SH the main characters arm had already been cut off/put back on again, smashed the bad guys face (literally), flown off a train and then stumbled across a town full of man eating cat demons that had already eaten all the humans there and fancy of bit of Yuri and Alice.
If that's not creepy (which, for reference, in my book means a thumbs up), then you can smack me round the face with Zippy.

Yeah, I did. Then you didn't pay much attention.
While Shadow Hearts was a brilliant game, I wouldn't really call it "creepy"... well, not past the first 30 minutes, anyway. You then go on to tell me why the first 30 minutes are creepy... which I've never denied.

Bah. It's 2:28 in the morning, and I'm too tired. I'm just gonna settle on SH is all creepy (the Wugui section still creeps me out) and that Third Age is yet another example of prime RPG material badly executed (I looked it up-doesn't look much good). *smacks Zippy round face, and promptly goes to bed*

Any of the GTA's.I don't know if anyone picked them.So I will in the hope of originality. It be like this:
Villager:please help us Noble Monk a demon is attacking our village
Tommy Vercetti:I'll take care of it.Show yourself demon you Son of a Bi*ch.Show yourself to me and i'll show you my "Tommy Gun"
Oh yeah!
