Best Breath of Fire game

What do you think was the best Breath of fire game?

I'm going with 3. It was the first BOF i beat, plus, i just liked it a lot. Especially Ryu; he looksed so cool in his white coat, lol.

After 3, i aslo liked 1 and 4. 2 is ok (although i havent played much of it) and 5 is..different..

Breath of fire 2 is my favorite. The translation was awful but it's still my favorite.

Breath of Fire 2. It also has the prettiest version of Nina, and Katt.
The Shamans were pretty too.
Storywise, the later BOF are more detailed, but I like BOF2 story the best.

YES BoF II Nina is my favorite Nina as well. BoF 2 will probably always be my favorite game

BOF2's Nina was good, but you can't beat 3's Nina ^_^

Breath of Fire III's Nina was very meh in my opinion.....and if you fall through a trap in Breath of fire II with Nina in the lead she will fly you back to safety

oh and yeah Lathan Granny's translation is very bad....

Lol, yeah, granny was funny. But i still liked 3's Nina, lol. I also liked how you started out as a kid, and then like 40% through, he grew up >_>

To be fair, I've only played parts 3 and 4. Three is definately the better of the two. BoF4 is nothing more than a ripoff of part 3 with all the good parts taken out. I lost my copy of part 3 and all I have now is a copy of part 4 and a copy of part 1 with 3 broken SNESes v.v

I've been playing a lot of BOF2 on the GBA recently and I have to say I like it better than 4. I'm in HighFort, with Ryu lvl 27, Katt lvl 29, Bleu lvl 36 and Sten lvl 20 (shamanised). I've been playing BOF4 again as well and I realised that my file sucks pretty bad so I started a new one.

True, but I like 3 more than 2. I never did get into 2...

BOF 3 - it was just do unique. There's something about it I really like....music/characters/PIKO!!!! and more.
