What did you think of this game?

Personally, i loved it. I thought DC1 was only so-so, but this is definitely a huge improvement. From the battles, to the weapon system, to the story, i really liked everything about it. The only thing i didnt like was how Monica's ultimate weapon looked >_<

Ive played the first one and its strange. Good, but strange. Ive heard the 2nd one is the bomb. Ill have to try it.

Its more or less better in every respect than the first one in every way. The first one is just mediocre, whereas 2 is excellent.

I think the 2nd is more story driven. The graphics are really nicely done everywhere, and theres a lot of detail. The level up and battle system is great, and you can build your own villages and stuff. The voice acting is waaaaaaaay better than FFX, and the game is long. Very good game, one of the best on PS2 so far.

DC1 didnt have ANY voice acting, unless you count the battle grunts made when you use your weapon.....

i dont care for voice acting or if its great or poor so that aspect doesnt worry me, so basically its just the story, length lvl up and battle system which has changed from the first??

Yeah, the battle system, story, the entire concept is much better than DC1. Even if you didnt like DC1, you'll probly like 2.
