Hi I'm looking to do the sidequest that you can get from Roger in Suferio. It involves 6 books with clues to item locations and such. I can't dechipher the clues, can anyone help me out? (I'd post them here but I don't have access to my ps2 right at the moment) I'd look this up at gamefaqs or something but i can't due to blocking here. All help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

anyway... I would answer your question but I didn't do anything with Roger in SO3. I started that thing with the books and never finished it.

its not worth it for the time (wasnt for me and rogers almost as much of a pain in the ass as peppita, lets all start off as lvl 1 with effectivly 5mins of story left YOU WHORE)
ehem
but indeed, guides are your firend.

Well, Roger technically is worth the effort if you want him to be, since he has the potential to dish out more damage in single hits than any other character in the game. But yeah, doing his sidequest can be a pain, I suppose. I was going to write you a walkthrough earlier, but with that guide there was no reason to.
I'd also give Peppita a chance in at least one playthrough, since she is the highest MP damage dealer in the game, and can be absolutely life-saving in some circumstances. In fact, out of the two characters you can choose to come with you at that point, I usually always choose Roger and Peppita over Nel and Albel. (though I never liked Albel in the first place)

ive only played it once and didnt like albel or either peppita or roger.
If you ever want help writing a walkthrough though, send me a message.
roger is the most powerful character if i heard right.... Nel blows... Albel owns IF you use him... otherwise hes only as good as he feels even though he DOES have alot of cheap attacks :D fun fun ... and peppita is my hero as when the scene when theyre on the moon thingy when Fayts walking along... i was like THROW A ROCK AT HIM!! (by the way my friend was playing at the tim) and low and behold... he gets pelted by rock! ... i was so happy :D lol .... anywayz as to Roger... never did him but i felt like posting that ... (i hated Roger due to the fact he always tries to use you... bastard)

Nels brilliance is in her ability to be 'average', and as with basically every main character she has nicely rounded stats and quite good adaptability for any situation. Whereas all Roger or Peppita has are their perks.
You wouldnt take on most enemies with just a tank or just a mage, youd aim for a rounded fighter.
