I'm surprised on Narcissistic, but Obsessive sounds about right.

I hope you guys are taking this 'test' lightly. At least 75% of those questions are bs and half of those personality disorders can't be 'self diagnosed'. -.-

I know with 99% certainty that no person on EF actually has antisocial personality disorder and someone with real paranoid personality disorder wouldn't have even taken the quiz.

what you guys should do is look up these things you scored high on in the DSM-IV to see what the actual diagnostic criteria is for them. (yeah... so I've taken several psych classes >.>)
the only reason I'm saying that is a lot of their descriptions for these disorders are a little off from what the real descriptions are.

So THAT'S what its called... Schizotypal... I've known something was wrong with me along those lines for a while now, and I definately fit into all the symptoms... Its good to know there's a name for it though.

I had. It would have listed me as schizophrenic, but to a mild degree, as alot of the major symptoms didnt apply to me. So that just confused me more.

Gunny can definately vouch for me on this.

Yvl is kinda Schizotypal.

I'm not saying that quizzes like that will never ever be right they just tend to be really misleading with their results... usually putting people on a high tier that they don't belong in.

The results can be skewed because people might select a different answer for questions in order to exaggerate or hide their possible personality disorders

that can't happen unless he was already schizophrenic. that disorder never starts later in life. the maximum age of onset for schizophrenia is late 20s.

You may not have the problems you're diagnosed with, but I think it was sufficient enough in outlining qualities. Certainly not full proof at that though. It was one of the better internet quizes out there though.

That's why I laughed/posted it. I thought it was funny ...very.

I did just look it up in DSM-IV, and I do actually fit into the criteria quite well. I personally love having this disorder (assuming I really do, I need a professional to diagnose it.)

But hey, lookie there...

Differential Diagnosis
Some disorders have similar or even the same symptom. The clinician, therefore, in his diagnostic attempt has to differentiate against the following disorders which he needs to rule out to establish a precise diagnosis.

Delusional Disorder;
Schizophrenia;
Mood Disorder With Psychotic Features;
Autistic Disorder;
Asperger's Disorder;
Expressive and Mixed Receptive-Expressive Language Disorders;
Communication Disorders;
Personality Change Due to a General Medical Condition;
Symptoms that may develop in association with chronic substance use;
Paranoid Personality Disorder;
Schizoid Personality Disorder;
Avoidant Personality Disorder;
Narcissistic Personality Disorder;
Borderline Personality Disorder;
Schizotypal features during adolescence.

I've been diagnosed with one of those related syndromes already... yet I HAVE indeed always thought something was missing from the diagnosis and there were extra things added...

I definately will look into this some more...

I want to see Johnny's results.

There's alos the possibility that you guessed some of the questions wrong (the ones that say "others percieve me as...") and that mine is more accurate than yours... but extremely doubtful.

Would you prefer it if I went to Stockton, California, borrowed my dad's medical records, and scanned them into my computer? I talked to him on the phone, after a situation, that I will not elaborate on, and he had to see a shrink, and he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

I phrased that wrong, what I should have said is that his schizophrenia was diagnosed, after a bipolar episode with a few schizophrenic....errrr....thin gs.

I didn't say that I don't think he has it. What I was saying is that something like bi-polar disorder doesn't 'develop' into schizophrenia.

and if he's got bi-polar (especially if he's had manic episodes) along with it he's most likely schizoaffective.

The Aspergers? Many many people, but it was on my record since the original quack diagnosed me. Again, Gunny can vouch that she was a quack. Freaking almost killed me with her experiments even though I freaking told her what the problem was...

The new thing, nobody, I am not saying I have it, I'm saying I will look into it and that it is likely I have it.

I'm pretty sure that I'm allergic to all of them. When my father did that brain dye test once....had a bad allergic reaction that could have killed him. =/
