first off, in order for windows to properly recognize you as admin after you make yourself it, is to log yourself out, and back in, so if you haven't done that yet, do it now, and such...

There really is no such thing as enabling the task manager, what it is, is disabling the disabled task manager, you'll see when you get into it...

Ok enabling the task manager requires registry editing so follow here step by step

1. Start

2. Run and run "regedit" (without quotes of course :P) You'll get a window, the title bar'll say "Registry Editor" and there'll be two frames, the one on the left will be kindof like a windows explorer, now you need to open (when i say open, i mean click the little plus sign) the folder that says "HKEY_CURRENT_USER"

3. Now subsequently open the folder the same way in this order:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mic rosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies

4. when you open the Policies folder you should see four more folders (most likely since you just installed windows) ActiveDesktop, Explorer, System, and Unistall.

5. Now click on the "System" folder and 4 lines will appear on the right

6. Right click the "DisableTskMgr"

7. Click "Modify"

8. Now...if this is the reason the task manager is disabled, then in the "Value data:" box it'll say "1" which means that it is on. If it is, Change the value to "0" (thats a zero) click OK and exit, and your done. If it does say "0" and you're still not able to get the task manager, i've got no idea
