Game Informer magazine has the scoop on God of War 2, according to scans of the magazine now percolating through the Interwebosphere. The only information divulged on the cover is that the game's headed for the Sony PlayStation 2. But inside, readers with a microscope might find a few more details:

They had a preview of this on God of War 1. They COMPLETELY stole my idea. But its a stretch to the story... his brother comes back from Hades and for some reason wants revenge on him... that doesnt make too much sense to me.

Eurogamer first released the story that sonys santa monica studio was working on god of war 2. However sony pulled off the block and rejection by threatening legal action before it was publically announced.

Seriously? They put a freaking preview in the extra features of the first game.

from what a couple websites are saying in the god of war 2 press releases they have, very serious.

cool....GoW was a pretty good game but too short IMO. I hope this one is a lot better and has better combos.

now that GoW is 20 bucks I might get it... If i ever get a new ps2.

The game was too short for me to buy back when, but its getting close to time that a replay is due, and 20 bucks sounds like a heck of a deal (I was wondering when they'd stop dropping the $50 tag).
