No, it isnt childish. ITs only a portable version of normal video game systems, lol. The people who call the GBA SP childish alsp probly consider normal systems childish too.

Childish? The GBA/SP has more technology and features than ever AND its the perfect size to fit in a pocket to take to work, as for games, I usually help my 9-yo son figure out how to beat the thing, definately not childish.

no way, its a great system! i still have the old GB too lol the really big one, i remember when people called that childist, but me and 2 of my friedns (there was like only 3 of us that played games in the town i lived in, in NC lol) played em all the time..hell, some might have thought kirby was a little childish, but i played it none the less lolol

How is the GBA like SNES?
SNES is not handheld. SNES has more greater RPGs in it, IMO. The GB is just for people to play them while they are out of the house. That's the reason why so many people get it. But nonetheless, the GB is not bad. Better then some other handhelds...

snes and gba/sp have there own things about them, not the same at all..though they could put snes games on the gba..but to me there nowhere alike

Not childish at all. Even Advance Wars, as childish-looking a war game as it may have been, was terribly satisfying and incredibly challenging as a game.

Besides, nothing beats being able to take a hot game on the road.
