you've been playing that for a long time haven't you. I finally got burned on it a few weeks ago. I transmigrated Laharl from about level 1200 and made it back up to 400 or so... I just got bored with doing nothing but gaining levels, and you sort of have to if you want to beat Baal.

Im trying to get all 10 endings, one of which you cant lose any charicters in fights, not one, that is how you get the ultamit (sp) ending for Disgaea

it's addictive to a point... but the extreme leveling gets old after a while.

At least you can lobby for stronger enemies so you'll get more exp at a time...and you have to admit that the voice acting is the best (might be a good idea to crazy glue your chair to the floor). btw, Galvatron, is it really such a bad idea to beat the crap out of the senators? I kinda wiped out a level 43, al evel 52, and a level 63 when my strongest character was level 40...is this going to screw up my chances of passing stuff? I haven't tried anything since I pounded them into giving me access to Prinnyland. Stupid purple penguins...I captured one and it didn't even have equipment for me to sell off...

not at all. how do you think I opened the alternate netherworld and the mysterious seal. :D It's a lot easier to kill em all when Laharl is on level 1000 though.

the only bad thing that can come of it is by persuading them by force 100 (I think it's 100) times. that's how you get the game's worst ending. it also lowers their oppinion of you by one level. It really doesn't matter if you're planning on doing it all the time though.

about the voice acting... It is some of the best I've ever heard. I laugh every time I hear Laharl do his really long laugh. lol

a power leveling tip, I'm guessing you're early on, is throwing enemies into each other to increase their levels. you can make some insanely strong monsters to kill. it's best to do it on a map that has an experiance bonus. the first one that you will come across that is great for power leveling is called Salamanders Breath. That, and the first map of the last chapter are the best until you can unlock the Cave of Ordeals.

Also try capturing enemies. You can capture them by throwing in into your base panel. You can't capture humanoids, so don't try for hours like I did. I finally read that you can't do it on gamefaqs and felt like an idiot for a while. If you can luck out and capture a high level enemy you'll have your own private punching bag that you can get a lot of exp off of.

Dude, I already mentioned capturing, and I've known about stacking enemies. I'm in Chapter 11 or 12 and only the fact that I keep going to Item World has kept me from beating the game already (lol, a 500 HL gun has over 1000 hit).I kinda like the Sea of Gehenna for leveling because I can throw enemies onto the green tiles, stack them into one, and trap them by laying down the Geo Symbol. Stupid fools are standing on a No Entry tile and can't move at all. Makes for some great gunning practice for my Scout. Bullet Storm = my best skill...sadly.

I'm doing my first try at a Suikoden game, Suikoden II. It makes me realize, the old classics are irreplaceable. New RPG's have a hard job keeping up with their predecessors. I mean come on...Who really likes FFX better than FF7? And FFX-2 is just a joke...

Right now, I'm in the middle of playing Shin Megami Tensei, Tales of Symphonia, Mega Man X Command Mission, Phantom Brave, Star Ocean 3, and Shadow Hearts. I can't do any more than that at one time, since I'll forget important information from each game, otherwise. After I've beaten all these again, I plan to go back to the Suikoden series, and play Suikoden, Suikoden II, and then Suikoden III. Then I'll probably get back into Disgaea, since it's such an awesome game. After THAT.. who knows? By then, I'll probably have boughten a handful of new RPGs
