Dragon Quest 8 problem -.-

I got the magic mirror from Argonia, and you need to fight a Sea Dragon to re-energize the magic mirror. I had already fought it, and I can't seem to get into another battle with it. I don't want to start over again, so what do I do?

It's under the stone bridge that connects the two continents. Even if you've killed it before, it'll always return there. If it's not there at one point, warp to an inn, sleep, and return there. The sea dragon WILL return, so don't worry.
Also, it my be obvious, but don't forget to put the mirror in your hero's inventory
