What type of Gamer are you?

Are you the type that has to play everything that comes out and have become obsessed? You know the type, the ones that haven't seen the sun in so long that they instantly turn to ash whenever a window is opened.

Or are you the casual gamer, the type that only plays whenever free time allows it?

Well I'm certainly not type one, I used to be simaller to that, but now I'm very much a casual gamer.

Depends. When working, I'll play a game to relax, but right now on the run up to Xmas, I'll play lotsa games to keep myself occupied. I'm certainly not type one....though I do tend to turn to ash when exposed to sunlight.

Considering I've shaped my life around gaming, and that I've intentionally molded my work hours in such a way that I work for the absolute LEAST amount of time possible while still earning enough to pay bills and purchace a new game every month, all so I'd have more time to PLAY games.. I'd say I'm an obsessive gamer. But hey, this is the type of life I enjoy.

It'd be the first one for me. well...It woulda been a month ago...My brother has my NEW PS2 and I can never seem to get it off him for too long...Plus my Tv broke...So I can only play games on the puter...That doesn't seem too fun all the time, specially since I'm aching to complete La Pucelle.

My mum went all out to get me that Playstation, too.

It depends. I used to be the first one. But lately (around the middle of this year or so), I've been finding myself as the second one. If I found more games that I'm interested in, then I could easily call myself the first one again. It also depends on my mood, and well I haven't been in the best mood ever lately.

My parents thought I was obsessed, but I really only play games to escape my troubles. It's not as important as Anime to me, but I still would be a wreck without games.

So in other words, I play when I have free time or don't want to think about my problems or the future anymore. I'm casual-dependant.

overall I'm a pretty casual gamer. rpgs and fighters are the only ones I really take seriously.

Type 1, but not to the point it consumes my life. I still manage to have something of a life outside of games, and to do well in my classes, so I don't forsake everything else for games or anything. But yeah, ALL free time is spent gaming, more or less >.>

Right now I'm just that kind of gamer that buys the best rpg's whenever he gets money and locks himself in his room for about 10 hours and only comes out to eat over the weekend.

well id say im the type that plays a game when i get it... and play the crap outta over short periods of time of playing.. like usually ill stop couple hours and take an hour break... so whatever that one is.. cuz i dont got no job or anything lol

first one if that means grabbing food supply stopping buy gamestop using every cent you have and then go home lock your doors, play the games all night, all day the next day, even if its a school day, if it is a school day refuse to go to school, finish the game, delete it, repeat playing and deleting untill you get really bored, or run out of your cheetos finally, and than repeat the process.
