Working on Christmas?

I just found out yesterday that I working on Christmas. Feel really bummed out about except I'm being paid overtime on that day. Anybody else working on the holidays?

Our store is closed Christmas, but I'd volunteer to work it. It'd be dead and I wouldn't have to be around my family. I loved my Thanksgiving shift.

I wont be working on christmas, because i have no job. The system is biased, woe is me, all that jazz.

Well its not like retaurants or the movies would close. Certain service industries essentially have to stay open or risk high harm to business.

Yeah. I don't work on Christmas personally, but many places are still open on that day. A lot of people work then, which must stink. Not that I'm one to talk, since I'm a lazy-ass. But still, it must be disheartening.

I resigned from my work a little bit ago. I finish on the 23rd.

I will, however, work on the day before christmas eve due to stingy prick superintendant deciding to kill everyone's christmas spirit by giving us absoloutely no slack for time off at school (We come back January 2nd)

I work Christmas Eve too 12-close. I don't think we get paid better either, but that's better than my normal 4:30-10 I get.

Well I work at a video rental store. The store is open everyday. Never have a day where its closed. Hopefully I won't be too busy on Christmas. Probably everyone will be drunk on Eggnog.:D
