Me and Yvl today were talking about this today at lunch. Ok. As we know we mortals worship and pray to our God. But what if our god lived in a world like ours with other gods like mortals and they worship a god above them in a different plane than them. And seeing as if this could be possible. Then there could be no limit on the gods above them.

It's possible, though most christains would naturally rule out the theory with select quotes from king james wonderful book of "nothing else exists accept for what is in these pages!!" Seriously some believe dinosaur bones and the moon landing are hoaxes because by their perception of the bible those things threaten their faith.
Guess none of us really know more until we move through different planes of existances ourselves.
i dont know...to confusing...to tired...i guess maybe...i guess not...who knows? god knows...not me...prolly raist too...but not...me...*falls over*

LMAO that's funny and probably true :chuckle
My question on the matter was if that were true, would God be upset that we are worshipping him rather than his god?

Infinity is one of those things that gives me a headache. I don't think anyone is meant to completely understand it... but if everything was truly infinite that would indeed be possible.

Interesting comparison, I never thought of it like that. Basically we're our god's ants and this universe is his antfarm, and he lives in another antfarm of a higher god, who lives in an antfarm of a higher god, and so on.
Which brings up the question, if I get an antfarm, can I be their god? I've never been worshipped before.

I suppose... but wouldn't it be more fun to be their devil.

My question on the matter was if that were true, would God be upset that we are worshipping him rather than his god?He could easily change the circumstances if that were the case.

Do you need to take shots at Christainity every chance you get?
I find the whole idea to generally be...well flawed. The "God" you're reffering to is all powerful and could therefore have no God.

Also after posting this I thought...since of the beings above us...then what about people under us in a different lower plane that we don't know of yet that worship us as gods. Hmm.......

For that to work we would have to be aware of those below us.

But you never know...what if our god isn't aware of us, then what.

Except he created us...and had a very active role early in our history.
You'll need to make-up the name of a God who is unaware of us. Call him Kevin if you wish, but its not the God of the Christains or Jews.

As they've all said..and if god did create us all then eveyrthing wouldn't be that old such as the dinosaurs and the universe itself. We evolved from single celled organisms and were never created by a omnipresent being.

unless his name turns out to be Kevin.
anyway... this isn't a debate on if god really loves us or whatever so try to keep it on topic.
