yeah, I agree. I do think that quite a bit can be determined after the first conversation though... because for things lasting longer than an hour or so personality and intelect are important. they are to me anyway.

i think that love at first sight is somthing everyone thinks about in the wrong way, ok if i see some girl, and fall in love with her right then and there, thats me loveing her looks, not who she is, BUT if i meet a girl, and fall in love with her after a little time spent with her, where its not her looks that im after, but for who she is..bewing that its the same day, i think that was what is meant when they first started saying "love at first sight"..if not, then people judge to much on looks, and not everything that really matters...which, alot of time that does happen too...but IMO its not first sight in that maner, cause i dont care about looks..so i really dont see how that would work, i guess its up to who, and how you are =/

Everyone points out that you can't fall in love from just looks, and that's all that is possible at first sight. But I believe much can be told from a first sight, much more than just looks. I won't go so far as to say you can judge someone on looks, but I believe in some cases, very rare cases, there is a connection and understanding of someone's identity;
and perhaps what you see in these cases is not their looks but perhaps something else, like a fate.

I don't beleive int love at first sight....yuo can't just love a person and be happy by the way they look.....if you like the way they look and find out yuo really hate their personality....then that would suck......to love a person is for their image is partially vain and part selfish. You have to look past their looks and see what kind of person they really are inside....not literally....but if they are a good, kind, caring person who can understand, forgive, and accpet when things can get confusing, missunderstood, and harsh.

Love at first sight is shallow. How much can you tell from a persons looks? Not much, only if they are attractive or ugly, really. You can make assumptions about people from the way they look but a lot of the time the assumptions are wrong.
