This is my assesment: Yvl is an attention whore. He needs the whole forum to know when there is shitting to be had. Of all the members of his list, I'm the only active one. What is Kal too much of a distant memory to include as well? Perhaps you should toss Altima on the list too. If you havent read it by now, the summary is I gave an honest list of people I hated as a way of getting people worked up before seeing it, and then brutally crushing their displeasure. Then Deity saw his name on there, said he didn't care, and kept posting, and a few others came in and said that deity really was going a bit far, and it got moved from Anything Goes to the Gates.

I'm not trying to de-rail anything. I think we're all just trying to make light of a hostile situation to difuse a hostile topic. I know your original intent wasn't to have this go into the gates Yvl. Unfortunatelly a topic based on the premise of other members being annoying or radically disagreeing with key individuals will usaully fall into this wonderful hell you see before you.

I've given up wasting post after post when it concerns argue-a-holics. I know two in partcicular that earned that title by my standards. I hope to get along with them to some extent but I know if they disagree with me on any nuances of a conversation regardless of how logic or polite I approach the debate they'll stubbornly cling to their opinion like a frightened person forced to jump out of an air-plane, clutching a parachute in the hopes of figuring out how it'll work before they hit the ground.

Sometimes they "are" indeed right unfortunatelly with their attitude they think they always are and that the world's secrets are no more difficult to glean then reading a children's book such as Clifford the big red dog.

Just in more words and maybe hide the dying part. It's so awful, though. Specially since I've come across people (Not just here) Who feel they have the right to say "Your opinion is wrong."

Just wanted to state my opinion real quick and ask this one thing. Deity, if you didn't care if Yvl or anyone disliked you or not then why respond and continue to "debate" this nonsense? Well obivously what I did to some extent was called trolling. I thought it was quite obivous to Raist and Deity how I feel debating with them but I'll be more blunt as Deity requested in the other thread thingy.

The honest truth is I don't like it when people cannot put the stick down. Normally if someone disagrees with me I simply say "You have a right to your opinion but I feel this way." However Raist and Deity you guys try keeping it going after that.

I know perhaps it's because you like proving without a doubt you're "right" or at the very least have a good theory. However being a more simplistic sort I like having a peaceful middle ground. Not everything can by divided by right and wrong. There are more colors to this world then black and white. Why try keeping an argument rolling when it serves no damn purpose?

I also do not like it when people cut snippets out of what I post then analytically try punching holes in the crediability of my statements. To me it's like politics. Guy one posts his views then guy 2 comes along quoting only "select" things that by themselves do not accuratelly portray the whole idea. To me it seems like a childish game of 1-uping to come off as seeming intellectual and sophisticated by debasing another persons beliefs.

Sorry boys but I generally don't like turning topics into obcessive compulsive competitions. However not once did I cuss either of you out, make lewd or gross remarks, or discriminate in any way. It all goes back to me just stating my opinion.
