Oh how I've missed this series. I'm about 20 hours into it now and I just can't put it down. The battle system is ingrossing, the alchemy pot is user friendly, the characters are light hearted and enjoyable, the plot is both comical and serious, the cell shaded work (by Level-5 mind you, the only company that seems to make it look good) is magnificent, and the voices are done well.

This game should dominate the holiday season.

For anyone who has played it, I'm trying to find some monster's to improve my team for Morrie's arena, any suggestions?

As usual, this hasn't been released on PAL, though I'm going to buy it on US import next year. I've read a lot of good reviews.

Is the Dragon Warrior series like the FF's in that each story is completely different or is it like BoF?

Is it going to get a PAL release eventually? Squeenix is really pushing the DQ series over here lately... I figured they'd probably start doing the same thing there soon.

Well I just got the boat, after screwing around and making a monster team for about 5 hours.

Very awesome scene to get it.

Also, Jessica in her bunny costume in very laughable.

Its like Final Fantasy.

I'm sure it will be, though I can't say anything for sure.

I doubt it. I'd never even heard of Dragon Warrior till I came here. And you know what Square's like.

I'll research it and ponder whether I can afford to buy it on import. Damn expensive.
