Coming on April 17th Following a week of media reports that, in addition to several new shows announced earlier this month, Cartoon Network would be adding Gundam Seed (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=883) to its programming in late April, Cartoon Network has confirmed to ANN that they will indeed be airing the newest addition of the Gundam (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=46) franchise and that it is scheduled to being on the Saturday Action block on April 17th.

AWN (http://news.awn.com/index.php?ltype=cat&category1=Television&newsitem_no=10092), points out that the late April premiere will roughly coincide with the release of the first volume of the Gundam Seed manga (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=2892), due to be released by Del Rey on April 30th.
