I'm not sure if this goes here, so if it doesn't can someone please move the thread to where it should go.

Anyhoo, ever since I've watched RvB and all of those compilations of games on PC where they do weird stuff...I've wondered how they do it. Now my friends have told me, but it doesn't seem to work on Halo PC...which is the only PC game I onw next to RCT/2.

I was wondering if it says anything anywhere in the manual about it or whether anyone here knows how to do it.

Any help will be great, thanks in advance.

its motion capture video editing you run a prog in the background to a game and it records the game from the moment you press a certain key till you press the other key, the format in plain avi is relatively goddamn fucking huge so unless you get a prog that deals with compression also itd be a waste of time.

most freeware progs of that nature are shithouse

Meh, I'll sort out that when it arises, but no one has still told me HOW to record from the game.

That's all I want to know, is how to begin the recording. Do I download something from somewhere or press a key to open some control panel in the actual game or what.

It's all i want to know.

in my one program experience on the matter, ya download something, install it, set it for timed delay or key press to start recording, load the game while its running, press the key to start recording at the desired time.

Try this site (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm)

Cheers, I'll give some a go. I don't buy stuff off the web so my choice is limited :(

...still, thanks.
