This is my fiance's tatto well one of them that is I think it is very sexy... He said the dragon and the tiger represent the struggle between fiction and reality... I like the fiction the best but that's just my opinion.. tell me what you think...

That is very nice, good artwork....i can kind of relate the meaning...

Hmmm. Interesting. On the hilt of certain samurai swords the dragon represents "good" but the tiger is symbolic of "evil." This does not mean the creatures themselves are automatically segregated into dark and light as a whole....its simply a metaphor of symbolism. The story states when people work deligently and with honor the gods smile and the dragon protects...but when the people and the emperror turn their backs on the teachings of the gods the tiger takes the place of the dragon. Fortunatelly this creates a cycle in which good men and women raise against the injustice thus the lowest leaf on the tree blossoms into a beautiful flower.

And Yes....it's a wonderful tattoo....10 out of 10 for me.

...is the tigers front right leg going through the dragon? I can't tell if it's supposed to be that way or not.

pics of 3 of my 4 tattoos are around here somewhere. I think they're in the art forum. just set the post display date to a year ago or more and they should show up.

No actually the dragon has it's tail wrapped around the tigers torso and lower body.... Thank you everyone for the appreciation... I know I love it..
