Evangelion begins today at 10:30 EST (I think) unless there has been a change in schedule. This is a legendary anime that is a must watch.

I've never particularly been a sub fan, but the second half, at least, really needs to be seen in Japanese.

I can't say I plan on watching it. I'm busy right now, but I might catch it on it's second run if I'm still up.

EDIT: Haha, that was far worse than I remember it. Gendo sounds... nice.

Bah! fuck you late night show! My mother bugged me to death about being up late until I finally cracked and went to sleep. I only got to stay up till 10:30 when I thought the show was...but aft er I saw that it was on at 12:30 I was like....oh...that is unfucking fair.

You guys need that cable box that can record shows. I have the entire series on record so that I don't miss an episode, since I haven't ever seen any of them before.

Heh... I have the Complete Boxset so I wont waste my time with the crappy begining Episodes lol..... hell id rather watch the Movie which I feel sorry for any of yyou TV watchers but an interview with the heads of Adult Swim already confirmed that they will NOT be airing the End of Evangelion movie on AS.

Hmmm...I watched the first episode earlier today, and I'm excited about seeing the rest of the episodes. I really enjoyed what I've seen of it so far.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that they aren't airing the platinum edition episodes. The jitter in the originals is... eh... horrible.

Ryw, I noticed the same thing... it IS ridiculous, I mean what would it have cost them to show it in that format, like $5 more?

Thursdays. I bet ADV gave AS the old version on purpose so more people would buy the platinum DVDs. At least they're releasing the set for like $90 some time soon for those who don't have it.

why? what's the difference?Really, really bad voice acting, and the last half is pretty much all about the voice acting. The "big" scenes are important mainly because of their unbridled emotion, and the actors they chose just can't hack it.
