would there be a way to make spam posts/threads count but on a separate counter??

I guess a hack could be made for it, but it far, far exceeds my capacity w/ coding to do so. So I'm gonna say no =/

I've never seen one on vb.org so it's safe to say it probably doesn't exist.

How exactly would you define what is spam and what is not? I mean, we all know by just looking at posts, but how would you get this counter to recognize spam? Unless it would be designed for just a certain sub-forum or sub-forums. If that is the case, what about those people who start spamming in places other than the sub-forums designated for spamming? Would you just delete those posts(so they do not get counted towards someone's posts), or add them to the Spam Counter?
I am just curious...

How exactly would you define what is spam and what is not?

well... in the case of EF they're just talking about all the forums where the postcount is off and wanting a seperate counter for them.
