1) Not enough job abilities. In EQ2, you get one or two new skills every level, while you're lucky to get one skill per 5 in this game.

2) Auction System. It is way too easy to abuse. There are farmers on every MMO, but they made it way too easy for them in this one

3) Staff corruption. Even WITH witnesses, GMs tend to ignore problems. Other MMOs at least TRY to avoid this.

4) Refusal to update. Prices and times have changed in the players' world, but they never change the ungodly low prices at NPC merchants.

5) City Rivalry. Though it is a good idea in theory, it causes a rift betweeen the more patirotic players.

6) Soloing. Nonexistant. Something too weak to be worthwile can still kick your ass at even the middle levels.

7) EXP system. Losing 10% of your max exp for dying is WAY too harsh, especially at the later levels where you need like 40,000 to level once.

8) Multi-lingual servers. The language barrier is ridiculously detrimental. Not only that, but it makes a chinese slave laborer harder to spot.

9) Difficulty to find raw materials. There's what, like 2 harvesting points in some zones at once? There are hundreds in EQ2.

10) Job balance. there is only ONE job who can heal sufficiently, ONE job that can refresh sufficiently, and two that can tank effieiently. All the rest is damage, leaving a surplus of damage dealers and a shortage of healers and tanks.

When some of these are dealt with, I'll come back to the game. That or you guarantee me 500k gil to start out with.

for me it's not really a demand for more techs... just more variety. there are a lot of them that do the exact same thing. a perfect example is shining blade and seraph strike.

agreed. I've been trying to get into a party so I can get to level 36 for the past two days. =/

I really want to come back to this game... but there's just too much wrong with it. And in EQ2 it's TOO easy to solo... you can literally go through all 60 levels without ever getting a group, and alot of people actually do that, which really makes things get dull quickly.
