I suffer until they go away. Nothing I try ever works (including everything mentioned so far).

Same goes for me. I just let it pass. It eventually does.
The deepeth breathe i can get and hold it for as long as i can. Your lungs expand so much your diaphram doesn't have room to spasm...:P

My sister taught me that one. Thats the only way I found it. The only thing my sister was ever useful for was teaching me that. Other wise she ain't worth squat.

I take a drink of water, hold my breath and swallow 3 times. That works for me...not all the time, but mostly.
I just hold my breath, maybe with a little water.

You know if you get hiccups...they may never go away! There was someone on TV who had them for 14 years, none stop!

There's a girl that sits in front of me in one of my classes that hiccups once or twice every day. That's it. She does it naturally, doesnt use any tricks, she just hiccups once and stops.

I'll have to try that since I get them almost every day. When people scare me it works most of the time(well, when they catch me off guard)

We had a birthday party tonight for my fiance and one of the guests got the hiccups.. It was kinda of funny how she cured it. Her husband took both of her ears lobes and covered the opening and held on to them while she took a few swallows of beer, and when they finished the hiccups were gone.. Strange but worked...LOL

I rarely have hiccups. Whats weird is that when I hiccup, I don't make any noise. I don't really have a cure for them they just go away on there own.
When I do have them, I just wait for them to go away. I don't try any remedys, mainly because they sound ridiculous.

I normally try the thing with the water...If that doesn't work (Which it normally doesn't.) I'll lay on my bed with my head hanging over the edge...Or upside down, if you prefer o.o;
And if that doesn't work...I sit down and force them out. I just keep pushing them up until they just vanish. But that gets annoying.
If you don't know what I mean...I'm sure you guys can burp at will, right?
It's the same thing, really.

Hehe..burping at will...got to suck in air for that. So thats one way you try that..I'll have to try that next time then when I get the hiccups.
