I refuse to retype everything, so I'll just copy it from GameWinners.

ANIME NORTH WAS THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!! If you've got $30 laying around GO TO ONE!!! Of course it's not that easy, you'll need lots of organizing, and unforutneately ours all screwed up...
Plans changed last minute so that we could only go for Saturday (yesterday). We missed our train up to Oakville and had to drive to London to get another train up there. There was a lot of waiting and groaning and mumbling coming... mostly from Taryn. Oh come now, don't deny it. She was pissed, seriously, no one would want to be near the wrath that was Taryn O.O;; Anyhoo, so we finally got there around 2:30 - 3:00 and met Lord Donnis ^_^ I used up all my pictures but one, so I can take another pic of Taryn completely dressed up. She'll tell you about that herself. No one would have known what I was XD I'm not even gonna tell ya, but it was "sexy". I'm going to develop the photos tomorrow to show you all.
The main cosplayed animes this year were Naruto and Inuyasha. I saw a lot of Inuyashas. There was also a group of Soul Calibur 2 (Xbox version) and Fruits Basket. Solo I saw a lot of Squall/Leons and got a picture of one ^_~ He was sooo hot, but none of you can understand that cept Taryn and I ^_^ (And maybe Sabby ) I saw very few FF cosplays actually. I did get a Rinoa and I thought I saw a Selphie, and there was ONE SEPHIROTH! Hahaha. Oh, there were tons of Rikku and Lulus too, as a pair. One songstress Yuna, a few X Yunas, one Paine, a "Mobster Seifer" a Spike *drools* Who had a "I need to be glomped" sign on him XD One other Shuuichi (Taryn had competition) KOS-MOS and Shion and one other person from Xenosaga. Hiro from Gravitation, Kaiba, one awesome Vash. Some Link and Zelda (One Zelda was very well done!) and a few NPC FF charas like a XI Elvaan, Blue Mage, White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner... I know there was more, I'll look at my picture. Even a CATS who was bitched at by a random "fan" who was all "Don't even, man." and I was thinking was he was saying "I'll dress up in what I like man, I don't need your opinion first." He was awesome. I think I'll stop now because I'm going to over my limit. To finish it off I bought a X-2 Paine and a X Yuna action figure, and nicey nice Donnis bought me a X-2 Rikku Action figure ^_^ And there were such voice actors as Scott McNeil (Piccolo, Duo, Koga, old Protoman), Brian Drummond (Vegeta, Zechs, Allen Shezar), David Kaye (Sesshoumaru, Treize), Richard Ian Cox (Inuyasha), the voice actress for Kagome (don't know name), Michael Dobson (Dryden, Kami, some person named Jinenji from Inuaysha) and people would ask them questions for example: a girl asked Brian to say "I love you, Rachel" in the Vegeta voice so he did and then he added "Come on, give us a kiss." and when Richard, Kagome girl and David were up there someone got "Inuyasha" to ask his dear older brother how much to tip the waiter. XD It was funny cuz they were like
Inuyahsa: Umm... Sesshoumaru, can I ask you something?
Sesshoumaru: What is it, little brother?
Inuyasha: I was just gonna ask you... uhh...
Sesshoumaru: Yes?
Inuyahsa: How much do I tip the waiter?
It was just sooo funny because you'd never hear the two have a convorsation like that!!! Next year we plan to go as a theme. Like FF8 or something, I'll be Quistis and Taryn'll be Fujin, Trepie can be Seifer and so on. Anyhow, I'll leave the rest to Taryn, peace out ^_~

who said i was crying? i doubt youve been to a festival in melbourne do you even know how many peopel go there let alone what types? Let me break it down for you.

-Retards who live on the street across the road from the center, they literally camp outside the atms there.
-People who cosplay, have general interest in the anime and dress up only to be about 2% of the people there while the other 98% either kick thier ass or force them out into seclusion.
-People like myself who go and find that they still brag on and on about dbz and the remake of astro boy and end up leaving bevause the merchandise is overpriced, the screenings crap and the retards let loose to do what they want.

The last good screening of anime was done about 2 ish years ago when there was a 3 day movie fest in the botanical gardens, unfortunately i was 17 and it was strictly 18+ entry. HOWEVER i do plan on going to the one in melbourne since i found a group to go with, no cosplaying though sadly.

I should have added lol to the end of my last post, by saying you wish you could have gone would imply that you were sad, so I used the word Crying, It wasnt an insult just a comment :p ^_^

and if the Melbourne one isnt that great take a trip over to Sydney, I know for a fact that is one of the bigger cons around the world, I have heard good things about it

Wow, that sounded like a fun con. It's cool the Link and Zelda were there, because its not really anime. :lancy

You would be surprised at what some people Cosplay as *Iv seen Pong O.O lol*

Many anime fans are also Gamers, and Anime cons are not just for anime *yes that makes no senses realy lol* If something has to do with Japan its usaly at a Con, thus Zelda is there, Inu yasha is an over done Cosplay, as well as Naruto and Rikku
