Final Fantasy 1, and i loved it..and it was the only game i would play for along time...til i got more FFs lol...it wasnt just my first RPG, it was my first game EVER....i still play it now and again

mine was ff7 i thought it was great and i still do sometimes i start new games and finish them so i can go through with every character to see their limit breaks

The first RPG that I played was Final Fantasy 8 and the first one I finished was FF7. I started playing them around the same time but finished 7 first due to the fact that it's easier.

As for me, I don't remember. I know i was around 6 or 7 back then. Playing my cousin's NES. Perhaps it was FF1. Anyway, he's the reason why i got into RPGs.

my first rpg was actually the second zelda game for the nes. alot of zelda fanatics hated it because it was somewhat of a side scrolling action rpg but i loved it. is it just me or does the second nes zelda not errily similiar to faxanadu and mount olympus?

the combat part of the adventure of Link is similar to Faxanadu, but most action/rpg games from that era are like that. I wish Faxanadu would have had sequals. It would have probably ended up like the Ys games.
