i was playing NFL street today and when i went to save it,it said that my card was corrupt. yup corrupt. so it told me to do some things and all my data was gone. yup all gone. so i have this to say. SCREW YOU MADCATZ YOU AND ALL YOUR MERCHANDISE CAN ALL GO SHOVE IT.*sues madcatz for 10,000$*20 for the card and 9,980 for all the time i spent on the games that were on there.*feels better/rich now*

With memory cards you seriously have to go with the 1st party. Although I don't think I own a Sony PS1 memory card. :D

I've been fortunate to never experience that... but I've known people that have had corrupt data. Krystle is one of them. I think it's happened to more than one of her memory cards actually.

I've had a corrupt file before, but I never managed to have the whole card go wrong.

Just get the official memory card for the GC, then. It may be a couple £ more, but it'l last you - I bought my PSX in 1997, and still have my memory card from then. It hasn't messed up ONCE. So, get the official (there is one for GC because I've seen it).

hmm this is interesting. i turned on my gamecube and it said the i had to falter it in order for it to save again. i turned my gamecube off. i waited 30 minutes before i turned it on again. i turned it on and now it works....is this a good thing or a bad thing?!?!

and even though like 30 of those gigs were porn (^-^) the rest were stuff i really needed, records, and just generaly important files...which i spent nearly 2.4 years collecting ><

Well, like has been said, the best advice is to transfer all of the data from it onto a 1st party nintendo memory card ASAP, before something else goes wrong.
