someone very close to me was talking to me on the phone today. anyway she had this cat that had problems and pissed on her mom's bed. in response her "uncle "stapled the cat inside a paper bag and left it in the desert near where they live in arizona. now is it just me or is that alittle extreme? i mean there's always the humane society or pound at which time the animal in question at least has a minimal chance of finding a new home. my friend of course felt really bad about the incident especially since she was really close to the cat. now, sure my cat infuriates me sometimes and i do punish him when he does something bad..but i'd never beat him sensless or abandon him. in my opinion if someone can torture an animal with no remorse they are one step closer to being able to do the same thing to a human being. anyway...what do you guys think about animal cruelty?

yeah the fact this girl i care about lives with that sicko disturbs me to no end...i too think he should be in jail...or at least put in a body bag and left in the desert so HE knows what it feels like..i hope he has enough humanity to at least feel some remorse over what he has done...if he does not may he get what is coming to him until he learns his lesson.

i agree cyrus. animals just like us are capable of feelings...if you can bring yourself to hurt an animal...what line stops you from hurting a human being whom can feel emotions as well? i mean if you kill an animal painlessly to eat it that's ok....but that is different from torturing it severly or leaving it to die a slow agonizing death. my cat pees on things sometimes and yeah i get mad at him...but i love him too. i may smack him lightly and say he is bad...but i'd never permanetly scar or maime him. animal abuse is the first true sign of a cruel and sadistic personality...if someone can heartlessly beat or kill a pet i pray they never have kids.

Animal cruelty sickens me. Especially on animlas that are otherwise innocent. The people who commit animal cruelty deserve to have the exact same thing done to them.

Well if you want to get him back for his deed, poor a little acid on his skin and let it burn him. You can either do it when he's awake and enjoy the screaming or do it when he's asleep. Try not to get caught so don't laugh too hard.

It's a cat, he shouldn't have held it to the same rules he holds humans to. Then again maybe he just needed a reason he could claim. Maybe he's one of those people that can only get off after doing something horrible, like killing a cat.

Either way people like that need to be burned by acid. Even I wouldn't hurt an animal. I feel bad if I kill a bug.

yeah even when enraged i've never done anything that extreme so i really think this guy had no excuse for what he did. scarier still he let my girlfriend know what he did fully knowing how she felt about the cat..i really wish she didn't live near that guy..her mom is kinda nutsy too..always screaming and yelling at her daughter even though she has an A/B average in highschool and doesn't party,drink,do drugs,and smoke pot(her mother and other family do all these things) i care for her and love her so much . i wish i could help her more but she lives far away right now though when plan to meet when she is older.

i agree vyers..i also think that my girl-friend's mom needs to chill out and be more supportive of her. it's strange because her mother showers attention on her son who has been in jail multiple times and is very much a screw up. tara on the other hand cooks and cleans for her family and does well in school yet she gets yelled at. methinks her mom is jealous because her daughter has not made the same mistakes she did when she was a kid. anyway i'm off task..i'd hope anyone here that sees an animal being mistreated reports it or just beats the crap outta whoever is doing the mistreating. this whole issue got me very upset. i guess before now i really didn't know how sick ppl could be.

i dont like cats..but animals cant truly fight back when people do things such as this...tis wrong ...but, i dont agree with the thing you said about if they would do it to animals they would do it to people...maybe its just me but i dont think so...i have known alot of people that wouldnt even think about hurting another human but would beat up dogs...i dont think that you can judge someone as somone that would do other things just cause they did one thing...judge the guy that he did this animal cruelty not that he might could do the same to humans....

now dont get me wrong...i do think it is sick...and wrong what the guy did...and yeah he should pay...a fine of alot of money..but not with his life...see, you say that if someone does this to a animal they could easly do it to a human...but i think most everyone other then you guys in this forum now think that human life means more then a animals life..it might sound bad to say but its a truth...now..you want this guy to die for doing that to a cat...i dont know whos better...him or you...he did this to a animal..he didnt hurt a human..but for this you want to kill him..see my point?...

well...in my experience of knowing ppl those that abuse their animals often abuse their kids..i mean in real life i wouldn't kill the guy...but i'd be sure to let him know he was scum. i know i said some heated things but that's because animal cruelty is a heavy issue with me.

Anyone that takes advantage of MY desert(i currently live NW of phoenix) to injure, maim, or flat out kill animals are sick ****s...how he got away with it is WELL beyond me... we are VERY big on it due to that fact that ppl kill animals every day via dehydration, its like... a class one felony, i do believe, to even intentionally injure an animal for no good reason here

i don't know either el' chyra unfortunatelly in this world there is often no justice. i'm sure my friend would tell someone if she could but she's proably scared of the consequences. also it happened awhile ago so there proably isn't much evidence left.
