Police: Man Eats $275 Worth Of Shrimp In Grocery Store
Man Fined For Allegedly Eating While Shopping

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Allegedly eating in the aisles of the grocery store has left a north Texas man facing hefty fines.
Over the weekend, an undercover officer caught the man allegedly eating a bag of shrimp at a Euless Albertson's that he didn't pay for.
According to Euless Municipal Court records the man finished the bag of shrimp, paid for his other items and then left the store.
The man now reportedly faces a $277 fine after being issued a citation for theft under $50.
It is unclear how much shrimp the man ingested, but officials said the shrimp cost only $10.99 per pound.
