Sweet... I watch adult swim pretty much every night so it's great to have some new stuff to watch. Some of the shows like Robot Chicken are just stupid.

Robot Chicken is hilarious. You have to understand that the comedy lineup is geared more towards working adults who come home in time to watch it, and to provide them with some laughs to ease their day. Explains that at the site, anyway. The anime lineup is more geared towards teens

It's adult humor. I've found every episode to be hilarious. Maybe you just don;t get the jokes or the hidden meanings to some of the content

I'm seriously getting tired of some of their home made shows....

They have become progressively worse...and more mundane.
I don't mind a shift of focus from anime - but the focus on these shows is somewhat annoying. If they lived up to the original ones, or were at least somewhat funny.....but robot chicken is the only one to do that so far.

Perfect hair and Squidbillies seemed half assed, and actually made me change the channel - the same as Tom goes to the mayor and Super Milk Chan....

It's starting to also appear to me that their not only getting into that habit of making fun of anime....but are almost distancing themselves from it and making it out to be almost something they keep around for the ratings - and take their shows as the underground thing....

Adult swim is essentially the only place in the US ( aside from isolated shows elsewhere ) where one can see these shows on tv....so it's makes me believe more and more these days that the guys running adult swim don't want to keep anime around as much as they used to....

If you think Super Milk Chan was stupid, then you werent tired or stoned enough. It's just so ridiculous that it can only be watched with half a mind.

Its not so much that they dont care much for anime anymore at [as], its just that there are more flames on the forums against Anime than there are flames against Comedy.

As Yvl said, unfortunately, Anime is taking a back seat to the Comedy lineup with fans. A lot of people don't care much for anime for some reason, and they openly say so on the Adult Swim forums. Adult Swim has considered getting rid of the anime line up completely several times, but thankfully they haven't yet. That's also why they're coming out with a lot of homemade shows. The request for more comedy is so large that they have to make their own shows in a hurry in order to satisfy their fans. Some of the newer shows aren't as bad as they seem, but others.. like 12oz Mouse, are an insult to animation and comedy in general.
