Okay Deity, since you and I are practically the only ones who give a crap about this my question goes to you. What are you picks for College National Champion and SuperBowl Champ?

As for me, I'm going with USC to win all again, cause they're loaded.

And I think I'll go with the Jets this year for my pick as SuperBowl champ.

Of course I know its early, but I'm just so excited. :D

Might as well have put it in my forum.

Since I can never really do a simple breakdown.

NFC

East: Eagles- No one can really compete here...The Giants, Skins, and Cowboys lack skills on both sides of the ball. With or without TO this ought to be a walk in the park.

North: Vikings- The Packers have a great deal of hold outs, their players are getting older, and they seem to be on the decline already. Counter that with the Vikings having one of the best NFL offseasons, the Lions still being inexperianced, and the Bears not mattering the Vikings have it covered.

South: Panthers- I think Vick mania is going to die down this year. He's not going to be able to overcome all the lack of weapons he has (for crying out load their Tight End is their next best offensive player). Plus, I don't think either running back is very good. This year the Panthers are coming back completely healthy (remember them losing two sure 1,000 yard runners last year early?) and they still almost made the playoffs. They're taking back the crown this year.

West: Cardinals- Yup, this division is so poor the Cards will win it.

Wildcard 1: Lions- I think these kids are finally going to pull through, even if Harrington can't play well this year. Mooch will be able to turn to his reliable Jeff Garcia

Wildcard 2: Falcons- Vickmania isn't that dead

AFC

East: Patriots- I really don't need to explain this, right?

North: Bengals- I love watching this team. Carson is going to have a break out year this season and everyone's going to be talking about how their 3 offensive studs are influencing the league. The Defence isn't great, but I trust what Lewis is doing with them. The Steelers and even the Ravens will make it interesting, but the Steelers had so many breaks last year it wasn't even funny and I have no faith in Kyle Boller as a QB in the NFL.

South: Jaguars- I loved what Del Rio did with these guys last year and I think they're only going to get better this season, the Colts will give them a hell of a fight, but there is too much disfunction with the little horses this year I think.

West: Broncos- The Chiefs have no defense, the Raiders are full of stupid choices and an interception prone QB, Chargers struck me as a one hit wonder last year. Brees won't be as good this year and the defence won't make as much happen.

Wildcard 1: Colts- They're still loaded on offense and have a decent enough defence, but I'm just digging the Jags this season

Wildcard 2: Steelers or the Chargers- One of these teams need to be for real enough last year to be in again, but I have more faith in the Chargers...

Super Bowl

Jaguars vs. Vikings- What? I might be a bit biased, but I loved the additions the Vikings made this offseason, even if they did lose Moss. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A SECONDARY!!!! And as I already said, I'm really buying the Jags stock this season.

I'll take the Jaguars to win it all, moreso because I think Mike Tice is an idiot. That said, the Pats will probably win because they always do.

As for college, I'll just say USC will probably repeat this year; however, I like LSU's chances of stealing their thunder. The coach they added to replace Sabin is excellent and they've got an extremely talented bunch of players.

I might write something more detailed later...

Hey....I love football too. I'm going with the Eagles. They've been coming up short the last couple seasons but I think this is there year. They have the experience and the talent to take it. NFC East is pretty garbage. I'm a Giants fan and I know they aren't going anywhere this year. Eli Manning is the starting QB and I doubt he'll make a big impact.
